Default Just started Turbo Jam...

and it is kicking my butt! I was doing the WATP 3 mile tapes almost every day, and after the learn and burn I was tired. I did the 20 min workout yesterday for the first time, and I was totally lost. I felt like I didn't burn anything because I couldn't do the moves with the DVD...there is no real direction. I am so used to aerobics where the instructor says what you'll do before you do it and gives which side you're starting on, etc. To go from that to Turbo Jam is a big adjustment. I ended up doing the 20 minute workout twice, so I could see if I could follow it, and it wasn't as bad because I had done it already...I was exhausted and sweating like a pig when I was done though. I think I'm really going to like it, especially since there are so many different workouts with the package that I got. Has anyone out there had real results from these workouts? Thanks.

I haven't tried Turbo Jam yet, but I got the Cardio Party Remix dvd off ebay yesterday, since I'm not sure I'd like it enought to pay for the whole set of dvds. The one I got is supposed to be 30 minutes long. It kind of reminds me of Tae Bo, just from what they show on tv and Tae Bo gives you a really good workout so hopefully this will work good!

I just tried Cardio Parties Remix for the first time on Friday. Like ButterflyBliss, I'd never tried Turbo Jam before, and there is a learning curve, just as far as Chalene's cuing is concerned. But that's true for any instructor you're new to. That's true for advanced exercisers as well as beginners (don't know where you are, but I don't want to assume). I think it's more fun than Tae Bo, personally. I'll use it as an add-on to something else that's reasonably short, until I have it down and can give it my all.
