Carol - Been so busy with DD home haven't had time to post! I can't remember what I posted but what I did is:
Sat - ran a 5K on the beach - it was HOT! Sun - biked with DD and DH - 45 miles Mon - ran 5 miles (had to walk a bit because it is so hot even at 5am). Today - got strength training after school. Last day of school is tomorrow but I'm working a couple weeks doing extra computer stuff for the school. DD is home for a few more weeks until we get her set up in NYC. |

I've been dealing with sickening headaches in the morning. I started eye drops for glaucoma and they don't seem to be working and these have some side effects. these headaches seem to be part of it. will go back on june 15 and if these drops aren't working then will see a specialist about some lasik surgery to try to alleviate the pressure in my eyes... anyway, that is probably more then you care to hear or know but just trying to explain why my exercising has been so PITIFUL!!! anyway, got the new dvd in yesterday from amazon and was able to get up and do it this morning. I did 40 minutes total. did the 20 minute upper body circuit (that has some walking in it) then did the 2o minute Fast Walk. I like it... and the back of my arms are sore LOL the name of this new one is The Tone Every Zone Walk later gaters :wave: |

I did strength training after work today. School is out but I'm working on the schedule for next year, among other things so working a few more weeks.
Going to the beach in the morning with my DD and we are going to run and then just hang out a while :) Carol, you deserve the new one - you will use it! Cathy - hope you are feeling better. Headaches are awful. I tend to get them on the days I run in this awful heat. But I finally figured out I have to drink a whole bottle of gatorade as soon as I get home. I don't really like it, or want to, but it's better than a headache all day. Surely they can change your med to help you! |

DD and I had a fun day at the beach (only there from 8-11:30 as neither of us can do much sun!)
We ran - me 5.35, her 6 miles and then showered and sat in our chairs. It was very hot, but nice. |
Sharon, glad you had a good time. My crew left yesterday. It's so lonely at first.

I did 3 miles this morning. I used the 5K with a Twist dvd (one of my favorites). then did squats and planks. :carrot: later gaters :wave: |

Had a crazy busy week and still not Friday! I'm working at school on the schedule and it is just all time consuming. I did run on Monday and Wednesday morning and planning on doing so tomorrow. Getting lots of hot flashes which is something new for me, not fun!
DD is still home for another week. |
