Anyone use weights with Leslie Sansone vids?
 

I've been using hand (and sometimes leg weights) when walking with Leslie. Gets you breathing a lot harder than just following the vid.

I used 5lb weights but I have neuropathy and they seemed to make my feet hurt so I rarely use them now....I'll be 65 April 7th.

Oh, that's too bad about collageVideo. They are so good. I guess I'll check it out. :(

Yes I usually hold either one or two pound weights. I stopped sweating after I was getting close to goal so I decided to start adding the weights. It helps. But now 3x a week I'm doing an arm toning after the walk with 8 lb weights so I don't carry weights those days. It's just a four minute arm workout on the Ultimate Five Day walk.


I did order something from collage but forgot what it was right now, need to put this iPad down and go to sleep. 4:30 is approaching.

Three miles from Ultimate DVD. Plus arms. Since I have a two week break from the college class, I don't have a planned day off.

hey carol - i think that was a typo on my part. i think you're right, they were 4.99. i edited my post to show the right amount, but then went to collage video and they must have sold all of that one anyway.

hey gang :wave: i didn't get up early enough to walk so i rode my exercise bike for 20 minutes instead. it's the kind with the moving handle bars that go back and forth so at least it feels like i'm moving several parts of my body when i'm on it. i figure something is better than nothing. :cp:
