Hi Sunny!
Slept in a bit this morning and only had time for 1 mile.....can't remember the name of the DVD! Used 1# weights. |
Good morning, all!
Sorry for being MIA, I have been exercising, just not coming here to record/post. Told myself I was going to 3fc FIRST today before anything else, I have to stay focused and 3fc helps me do so. So putting a post-it on the screen to remind me every morning to come here first! No exercise done yet, and I am not sure which dvds I will do today but I am hoping to get in a walk this morning around the neighborhood, it's only 47 right now! Loving the cool, fall weather but that's a little chilly for me right now. Have a GREAT Friday! I'll be back later :) |
Good to see ya, Cristina!!
Did miles 1 & 2 of the 5 Mile Fat Burning Walk this morning. Really going to try to get in at least one good long workout this weekend. |
Looks like that weekend workout will wait until tomorrow. In other news: my fav pair of jeans slid on like a glove this morning!! No loss this week, BTW.
|
No weekend workouts.:(
2 Mile Walk Off Even More Weight w/ belt this morning. |
Sorry I haven't been around much! We had our Thanksgiving yesterday and it was nuts, but I stayed on track and did not overeat.
I've been doing the workout 5 - 6 days per week. Yesterday I did 5K with a Twist and in a couple of hours I will be doing the 4 Mile Super Challenge. Hope all is well!! |
Hi Sunny! Happy belated Thanksgiving!
Wow, I overslept this morning but was able to squeeze in the 2 Mile Power Walk With Friends w/ 2# weights. |
Thanks so much Annie!
I'm doing 4 Fast Miles with 3 lbs hand weights this morning. |
One mile w/ 2# weights this a.m. Can't remember the name of the vid for the life of me!!
|
I probably won't be able to log in tomorrow so I'm checking early. I'm going to do the 5 Mile Fat Burning Walk in the morning.
I need to buy some more videos too. My local video store that has 2 videos I'm going to check out soon. |
I took today off from exercise. I think that extra hour's sleep was more important!
|
:)
I don't even have any videos... I am going to find out what is good (here at this site) I walked 8 miles outside this morning. at 7.5 got rained on... came in to change clothes with rain gear, went back out and finished the half mile. :) |
I didn't have as much extra time as I thought today so I just did the 4 Fast Miles this morning.
I hope you enjoyed your rest day AnnieDrews! Hi masterptr. 8 miles is impressive! Good for you for finishing up your last half mile too! |

Angela, how long does 8 mi. take you. That would take me at least 2 hr or more.
|
I did "Walk This Way" for the first time and liked it so much I did it twice (4 miles total). lol
I'm curious about the 8 miles too. When walking outside I can do 1 mile in 14 minutes. Just not sure if I could sustain that speed longer than 3 or 4 miles though. |
3 Mile Weight Loss Walk w/ 2# weights this morning!
So I have been tracking my miles since probably mid-Feb on the Walk At Home Facebook page and hit the 400 mile mark this morning. I know I have walked more since I didn't start until Feb. AND I know there are days I have forgotten to post, but it really is cool to see it!!:carrot: No loss this week. |
2 more miles today. I have walked 21 miles since October 3rd. :carrot:
|
Great job AnnieDrews & tubolard!
Saturday was my rest day. Yesterday I did "2 Brisk Miles". Today I did "Walk This Way" and "The Big Burn- 2 Miles of Intervals". |
3 Mile Boot Camp w/ bands today.
Hello, Tubo!! |
I snuck in "Walk This Way" again this afternoon. Almost 6 miles over the course of one day. :)
|
I worked out hard yesterday and my strength-training class was tough last night so I'm just doing the ExerciseTv 3 Mile walk at low intensity this afternoon.
|
Didn't have time to check in yesterday!
Yesterday: Miles 1 & 2 of 5 Mile Fat Burning Today: Miles 1, 2 & 5 of 5 Mile Fat Burning |
2 miles yesterday.
2 miles today. Up to 25 miles so far this month! |
I did The Big Burn 2 Miles of Intervals today. Didn't have time to do a longer workout.
|
Does anyone have trouble with balance? I notice as I get older that things like the power kicks are hard to do. I fell a couple times this year and does that ever hurt. Still doing 4 mi a day with 5lb weights.
|
2 miles again today, so far I am up to 33 miles total for since October 3rd.
|
I wanted to workout yesterday, but my body told me I needed a break so I took a rest day.
I did 4 Fast Miles this morning with 3 lb hand weights. carolr3639 - I don't have problems with balance, but when the pace is brisk I can not power kick my leg high even when my core is engaged and I'm pretty flexible. Take it easy and try to do what you can or do another move such as tap outs instead of power kicks. Great job tubolard! I need to count my miles for the month. |
Hello all! I took yesterday off. Did the 3 Mile Weight Loss Walk w/ 2# weights this morning.
Carol, I seem to lose my balance sometimes when I am doing the leg stretches!! Everyone is doing great!!:carrot::carrot::carrot: |
2 more miles today, w/3 pound weights. I walked an extra half mile down my road and back as well. 35.5 miles walked so far this month!
|

SunnySide - I would love to hear how you went from a size 22 down to a 14! what an amazing accomplishment!!! and it looks like you did it in about 6 months - WOW!!!! |
Hi everyone!
I did the 4 Fast Miles and the first mile of Walk This Way with 3 lb hand weights this morning. I was busy with my family events all weekend so I could not workout. The first time since July I missed 2 consecutive days of working out so I have to get to it this week! AnnieDrews - That's great you were able to get a 4 mile walk in! How was the ghost walk? I love Halloween! cathyxxx - It's so nice to see you and good job losing 5 lbs!! Thanks for your kind words and for noticing! Let's see I started off as a size 20, but I was creeping up to a 22. I had to buy those short in my avatar because we had a few warm days back in Feb. and March and I couldn't fit into my old pairs. :( The way I lost the weight was simple...I drink a lot of water almost every day, I watch what I eat and workout 6 days per week. I do WATP mostly along with some of my fav ExerciseTV clips and I take a strength-training class twice per week. When I started lifting heavier weighs my body started to change dramatically and the inches started to fall off of me. Sometimes I workout twice in a day especially if I know my calories will be high for the day. I don't count calories, but I take mental notes of how many calories are in different items. I did it all on my own with no gym membership, no Weight Watchers etc., but I do spend a lot of time researching things and learning about the body etc. Also I had a few restarts earlier this year, but I've been going strong since July and between then and now is when I lost most of my weight. I started off at 254 and now I hover between 217 - 222 these days. I only weigh myself about twice per month. I credit WATP and this forum for helping me keep myself in check such as keeping potato chips out of my shopping cart. lol Being consistent with the working out and eating healthy has been the key for me. Oops sorry for rambling, but I hope this helps! |
