Default Need "Insane" support? then come on in!

Hi everyone,

My name is Kevin and I am a P90X grad and I have decided to try Beachbody's new "insanity" program. If you are doing Insanity, P90X or any other program for that matter be sure to stop in and say hello, together we can get our ourselves fit and stay that way!!

I wanted to start this thread so everyone could share their successes and help motivate each other through their exercise programs!

I plan on starting this program on 9-12-09 so let's do this together.

Take care of yourselves....
Kevin

Nice job with ChaLean! Keep it up, I will certainly let you know how insanity is. From what I hear insanity is a TOUGH program but I'll do my best and see.

WOW, Did my Insanity fit test today It consists of 8 moves, each move is pretty challenging as you can imagine. Each move is one minute long and you do as many reps as you can in that one minute.

The program is 60 days long so you take the test every 15 days to track how much your strength and cardio iincreases over this period of time.

Day 2 tomorrow I'll let you know how it goes!

Take care,

Well this program is certainly not for everyone but I do what I can, anything is certainly better than doing nothing. This is a VERY fast paced workout and I find myself hitting the pause button often! I am actually slowly getting used to it and enjoying it to a degree! It will test you for sure but that's o.k. Thats why were all here!

Take care everyone,

I just ordered it today! I teach Spin class twice a week and practice Bikram yoga a couple times a week but am ready to turn it up big time.

I'm excited to start...! Good luck everyone.

I've been kicking butt with CLX so I CAN'T WAIT to try Insanity!! Is anyone out there getting good results? Is it too hard to stick with for 60 days??

spinmomof3,

You'll have to let me know what you think of it when you get into the workouts. One of the people in the video doing the workouts is actually a spin instructor.

Tiffany,
That's great your doing CLX, are you liking it? I heard some good things about it. I have not done that program yet, maybe in time.

The Insanity program is not easy that's for sure, I don't find it too difficult to get motivated to do the workouts it's more of a challenge for time with all the other responsibility's we have to deal with in life.

-Take care

Just wondering what kind of results you are seeing with the Insanity program. I was going to get P90x for Christmas but am thinking of getting Insanity instead. Any info would be appreciated....

I just ordered Insanity yesterday. SO excited! I got a great deal on it too. Keeping my fingers crossed that it will help me get into tip-top shape.

Me personally, I am not seeing the same results that I had with P90X in terms of overall weightloss but I do feel MUCH tighter in my core and my cardio has improved dramatically.

I think P90X and Insanity are both great programs, but if I had to pick only one it would be P90X due to it's variety of workouts.

take care,

Default Have a question about insanity workouts...

Well, done 8 workouts and find that my jeans are A LOT tighter than they were before I started them....am I builbing muscle? Not the direction I was hoping to go. Thinking this is normal but still wanted to hear it from someone else. Will be number nine after work tonight.

Your thoughts.
