Question Turbo Jam Max-first Time Last Night

Hey Turbo Jammers!

I did the Learn and Burn and the 20 min. last night and my back is sore. IS THIS A COMMON THING? Are you all sore as well when starting this program? I know I am doing different exercises now and my body will have to get used to this so is this a red flag or just part of the program and the new exercises?

One more thing. I noticed that if you wanted to do the 10 pounds in 10 days program that is included, she has you doing the Cardio Party and the Cardio Sculpt rotating for 10 days. I got through the tapes last night no problem just need to get used to the steps, but wondered if this is way too advanced for a newbie? I am not at beginner level but intermediate (working out off and on for 10 years and still heavy in the hips! LOL) and wondered about this since this 10/10 is a quick results program.

What are your thoughts???

Thanks!

Hey Tammy,

I did try to respond to you PM but I am not at 10 posts yet Here is what I did send you...well sort of.

Yes it is normal to feel soreness in your back and other muscles but remember to work on your posture and form also. That is so important. I too am experiencing soreness in my lower back at times but I find after a good workout, it seems to dissipate. Stay active and don't let yourself seize up. It will get better. Today is only day 2 of my workout so yeah I'm still stiff and sore. I feel so much better and refreshed after I do my workout though. Right now I am doing the 20 Minute Workout and Ab Jam. Total time is around 40 minutes. I am eventually going to get on my elliptical for 10 - 20 minutes per day but as it stands I will stick with Turbo for the time being. One step at a time.

Let me know how you are doing.
