Default Wednesday (19th) to Tuesday (25th) Week of clean eats challenge!

Last week I managed 3 days outta 7. This week I'm aiming for at least double that!

Today not off to a bad start, some cereal with soya milk and protein powder

Tonight I've got the groceries being delivered, so I shall have plenty of lean protein, fruit and veggies

I had my official weigh in since vacation. It looks like I gained about a pound over last week. Could still be water since I am just this morning officially off TOM. Will drink the water and contine the cleaner eats, hopefully seeing a decrease next week.

Yesterday's tally was low in calories due to not being hungry.
Cals: 1,042
F: 18% (Sat: 9%) Need to work on the saturated! New guidelines say <7%.
Cb: 59% Need to get this back to < 55%
P: 24%
Fiber: 12g
H20: 48 oz. Need to get this back up to at least 72oz, which is doable.

Thanks for keeping me accountable this week!

I'm a glutton for punishment. Let me try this again.
no more than 1400 cals/day with more than 30% protein
100 minutes weights
60 minutes walking
60 minutes biking
60 minutes gardening (I've got some dirt to move)

Whoops! I slipped up and ate 3 biscuits at work! I don't know how I managed it AT ALL! They just fell into my mouth! I went to have 1, then the next thing I know, I'm eating a 3rd! BAH! I don't think I'll be too bad on calories, and I'll factor them in so that I don't have too bad a day, but jeez! What is with me?

Still going to have a nice healthy dinner tonight and I DID go to the gym at lunch and attempt some pullups, so can't be all bad!

I'm starting my day 3 of clean eating. Last week was vacation, and since others were in charge of food, I had to eat what I was given--there were a few meals where there was nothing clean!!! I have dropped 1 of my vacation pounds since Sunday!!
yesterday:
1134 calories
28% fat
33% carb
22% protein
18% alcohol (that darned wine again!--I'm going to abstain today.)
I left home this morning without my water bottle or my lunch!!! Aargh!! My car is in the shop getting new tires, and if it is done before lunch, I can run home and pick up my lunch. Otherwise what will I do????

Today is looking good...
m1 -- oatmeal and eggwhites
m2 -- oatmeal and protein shake
m3 -- salmon and salad

exercise has been excellent last couple of weeks, exercising is not the problem with me... it's the food ... arghh....

Ilene, I have a question. My DD wants to try protein drinks, her trainer suggested whey protein. What kinds do you (or anyone else who uses these) recommend? We're going to go shopping this weekend and I know we'll be confronted with a large selection to choose from.
Thanks!!!

Total 1931 - not BAD but not great either, I'm counting it as a high zig zag day. I did eat those bloomin biscuits though, and a little ice lolly slipped in at 83 kcals F 31% (bit high!) C 49% (ok) P 20% (a little low)

I was waiting for a grocery delivery for my tea, but I was getting hungry and he was later than expected so I had to have a slice of quiche for tea which was all that was left in the house!

Today I've had raspberries and cottage cheese and strawberries for breakfast, snack is fromage frais with raspberries and pears and banana, lunch is chicken stir fry with lots of veggies and brown rice, afternoon snack is turkey pitta with salad. I'm feeling healthy today!

Again my calories are lower than I like, but I just haven't been hungry. Possibly due to too much food last week on vacation, and it's just too dang hot! I've been eating salads (no meat) for dinner this week which are good, but not high calorie food without the meat.

Cals: 1,058
F: 15% (Sat: 6%)
Cb: 57%
P: 21%
Fiber: 14g
H20: ONLY 36 oz. (ugh! - I just didn't drink much either. The only other beverage I had all day was 8oz of 1% milk with dinner)
