What goes up must come down! Don't worry, my friend, whatever is gained can be lost.

Because you have been so diligent during the year, I think you'd find, if you could see a calendar of your weigh-ins from last December, that you've lost since then. The way I figure it, when you're a Feather, then you're going to lose a smaller amount year to year, but it's going to keep going down 'til you get to where you want it. That's what I HOPE, anyway, since my weight is going up higher than it has in quite a while! ;)

At any rate, good keeping track, everyone! If I may say, with all due modesty, we've all done a really good job this year!

:celebrate: :celebrate: :celebrate: :celebrate:

Lowest weight for November: 108.2
Last unofficial weigh-in for November: 109.2
Goal for Sunday: None. I have a "weight and see" attitude.

12/1/15: 111.4
12/2: 109.8
12/3: 109.2

12/4: Unofficial weigh-in early in the week - 108.0 (Recording 108.2, as that's the next step down from the last time I made weight on 11/22.)

12/5: 110.6
12/6: 110.2
12/7: 109.4

Unofficial weigh-in early in the week again, 12/8: 107.4. O. k., now THERE was a surprise! I made weight five days ahead of schedule. The goal was 108.1, so that was well below the number I was looking for - yay! I wonder if I can have two up days in a week now? If I make weight again (108 straight up) by Sunday, then YES I CAN!

Strangely, I think what made me lose two pounds in a day, which is very unusual four days after an up day, was preparing for and making a two-minute speech. I think maybe the nervousness burned it off.

12/10: 110.8
12/11: 110.2
12/12: 111.8, and I had to wait probably at least on hour or more to get it down to that!

I ate late last night, and I had a lot of calories left over from the day before. I was happy with some choices I made, like having cottage cheese and pineapple instead of caramel corn. Of course, this was after going to Stone Cold Creamery and having a little "Like" cup of blue Cotton Candy flavor and "Shark Week" blue Rich Cream. You would not believe how good that was! I hadn't been to Cold Stone in many years, and didn't really like it last time I went.

Chances of making weight tomorrow? Zippity-do-dah.

Unofficial weigh-in for 12/13/15 - 109.6. Goal was 108. Better luck next Sunday!

12/14: 111.4. Also came down with the creeping crud. Think it might have had something to do with having two junky "up" days, twice in a week. Even though I didn't make weight, I saved my calories from Saturday and added them to the usual 2400 Sunday calories. I guess I felt a little cocky because I hadn't had any cold or sinus problems for so long.

12/15: 108.8
12/16: 109 straight up. Because of the creeping crud, I'm not eating as much and am amassing a mass of calories! It was up to 2465 today. I'm trying to avoid anything that will turn to sugar, because that might be a culprit.

12/17: 108.2
12/18: 107.4
12/19: 109.3

Unofficial weigh-in for 12/20: 108.0

12/21: 109.2
12/22: 109.2
12/29: 113.8
12/30: 111.4
12/31: 111.8

At any rate, major kudos! :yay: :yay: :yay:

Thank you! Yeah, when I got too close to 136, I became way too stressed about hitting my goal of healthy BMI and bouncing back. So I just stopped recording my weight for a while, even in the chart on my phone. I did step on the scale regularly to determine if I'm safely there yet but somehow the bounces don't really bother me if I'm not recording it - that's when it really becomes "just a number". I was super motivated too because of being so close, so no slip-ups and just pushed myself a bit more than usual. I guess "accountability" doesn't really do me that much good, as it so easily becomes pressure. Lack of pressure and peer support are the thing for me it seems. I still logged on here regularly to read what others are writing, just didn't participate. :)

Thank you for sharing your secrets, Pidge. ;) That is the beauty of the scientific method: You test and try, and you eventually hit upon success! :dancer:

Satisfied with that. If I can repeat that performance in January, I will reach the 130s, which would be fabulous. This included some higher deficit days and some maintenance days (and 1-3 over maintenance days, couldn't really track over Christmas but I KNOW Christmas day was over and Boxing Day as well).

I'm considering trying not to weigh for the entirety of January, although I do enjoy posting in these threads… I'm just thinking that I am *so* desperate for that 139.8 (it's been a goal for like, 11-12 years? to get there, I haven't been there since I was 13 or 14, it'll be "new" weight being lost instead of the 52.4 pound regain I've been working off for the past 6 months - still have another 3.2 pounds of that left)…. anyways yes I am so desperate for the 130s that I'm going to flip out when I stick at the same weight for a week or so (which happens) and get frustrated about how slow I'm losing (even though -500 is about all I can handle these days).

Tonight I shall indulge in my sugar free molten lava cake before the New Year.
It is our 10 year anniversary on Saturday so we are visiting a really nice restaurant and I really want the Duck. So we shall see how I handle that.
