Wha?!?! I mean, I'll take it... but I wish I understood my body a little better. Or perhaps rather than blaming my body I need to focus on my own lack of consistency!
(just looked back and noticed roughly the same dropoff from the 13th to the 14th -- so I may be consistently inconsistent )
Also, I realized that since I am hosting a party tomorrow night, I do have some say in the food. In addition to cheese tray, nuts, olives, etc, I'm going to make some shrimp with healthy dipping sauce and a veggie tray, so I have some good options. Dessert tarts are 50 cals each so not bad!

thesame ~ Great big PROPS to you for coming on in here, girl!!!! That takes strength, courage and discipline and guess what -- You have it!!!! Thanks for all your support and kind words! I think it's so interesting how different things work for different people. How many calories do you consume on days where you just eat what you want and do you actually eat what you want or still healthy options but a greater amount?

On up days, I probably eat between 3500 and 4000 calories (each day). I eat a lot of high protein, high fat foods, although I do tend to stick to healthier choices for the bulk of the day. I do indulge in some junk, though. But I can only eat so much, because my stomach has shrunk from eating much smaller amounts for the rest of the week. It's a good thing, though, 'cause I wish I could eat more!

Seven~ Hurray!!!! That's the thing about drops: sometimes they catch you off guard, but you gotta be in it to win it (i.e. keeping track and paying attention) Great job, girl!!!

Had a great day yesterday, thanks for all the birthday wishes! We went to a very fancy restaurant in the capital city here (Edinburgh) and I had three courses and enjoyed them all. Back on the calorie counting game today as I leave to work in the USA for summer on June 4th and want to be at my goal weight (so close now!) by then. Happy Thursday everyone

Glad you had fun! I think keeping happy with one's program is most important. If we're always depriving ourselves, that would not be sustainable in the long run. You have a very workable program!
So, I'm a half a pound closer to goal than I was last week at this time, probably due to - surprise! - exercise! Worked out probably two more days than I did then, and I pray that I don't have to work out tomorrow morning (up day) to make goal as a result.

I'm sensing another plateau ahead lol. Overall net loss of 2.5 pounds for the month, I'm pretty happy with that. I think my goal for next month will be another 2 pounds, and to continue with my new weight lifting routine. Trying to get my 10K steps in everyday, too.
