February Weigh-In Thread
Hey guys! Welcome to another monthly weigh-in thread!
Where are you now? Goal? Ultimate goal weight? Exercise goals? January 31st: 120.4 lbs (lighter scale) Goal: maintain at 120 lbs (118-122 lbs) Ultimate: according to this "monitor your weight" app I have, it's saying 112 lbs. Hah! Exercise: 5 days week, run for 45 minutes or 4 miles, Insanity/P90x, one body part per day weights, calories at 1300-1600 depending on exercise, net 1000 Or, just put your daily weight :) |
I'm in. Hope to lose 4 pounds and get closer to healthy BMI.

Thanks for starting this, Jen. I'm totally in! I'll be right back - the checkbook hasn't been balanced since the 15th, so I kinda hafta do that first. :D

If I see I'm not making progress towards it fast enough, out comes the running, the treadmill, and the DDR. Also, I'd like to figure out a way to incorporate yoga videos, even though we don't have wireless here (we're hard-wired, to avoid the RF). I can download them, or even just watch them and play them back later, but it's a hassle, because I don't have an iPad or a smartphone. Maybe I can buy a nice long yoga DVD with a month's worth of daily poses on it or something. Best of luck to everyone in their endeavors! :) |

2/1/15 121.4 lbs
I ate 1800 calories on Friday and didn't exercise, was 120.4 lbs on Saturday, ate 1200 and netted 800 after exercise, and woke up a lb heavier today. I did increase my water consumption.yesterday after getting a new app, to 8 cups. Hmmm. There have been a few times when I have eaten more and lost, but I'm too paranoid of gaining weight to test this! |

Good luck Sum & Jen!
Hit 135 today, goal is 130 by end of Feb :) |

1/31/15 - 113.4 2/2/15 - 118.5 (probably wasn't helped by the "meatloaf three ways," including fried! :D) |
You have to live once in a while. I had Cracker Barrel on Sunday (and then walked another four miles for good measure....hah)
I'm sure you will quickly lose the 5 lbs. :) |

UP 2 from 4 days of eating out. I'm back home now, and I'm going to give this month a good effort. I love the treadmill for that reason....reading, music, or tv entertainment :) |
I hope to lose 2-3 lbs this month. That's a reasonable goal for me since I'm only doing this through calculating calories. It's a small goal towards looking better for my wedding in the summer. :D Will weigh in every Sunday.

Thank you, guys. I had a 'goodbye' dinner at a restaurant, with a friend who just got married and is now moving back to California. My weight may be back up tomorrow.

Feb 4 126.5 Feb 5 126 Maybe there is something to eating slow (as in some European countries). I had a very large, high calorie dinner, and ate it over 3 hrs of time (it was a goodbye dinner for a dear friend who is moving). I went to bed late, and actually felt hungry again, but didn't eat. Down today which is totally unexpected. That, or "hunger works", inspired by Hungerwerks :) |

Did not make week's weight-loss goal (half pound loss for the week) until after one in the afternoon! Saturday is my cut-off, make-or-break day! :) Thinking of only going for 112.5 next week, so I can be shooting for actual half pounds on the scale, and not "off" amounts like .4 or .8. Good excuse, eh? :D |

I've come to the conclusion that I don't lose weight in the scale sense but in the body fat sense. I bought three pairs of size zero jeans yesterday. I think this is more than good enough. It would be nice for scale numbers to go down, but this is fine.

113 lbs is great. Nice :) |
