Talking Mini victory - lost the vacay weight I gained last weekend!

I went away for a mini vacay last weekend to a place with LOTS of amazing food. I ate too much and drank too much and when I came back, the damage was 2.2 lbs! I was stuck at that weight until yesterday morning when I weighed myself and found that I had lost most of it. This morning, it's all gone! I'm sure some of it was water weight, but I've been working hard at cardio and lifting this week, so I'd like to think that some of it was probably me watching what I've been eating and working out. Alsoooooo... only .2 lbs before I am out of the 140s!

Great job bubbly! I had a Vegas trip a couple of weeks ago and now I'm going on a girls trip to Florida. I'm hoping to maintain my 140 and get back on plan when I get back next week. I'm really worried about all the wine that will be flowing...

Mini goal: Maintain 140

Thank you! Our goals/weights/heights are so similar! My solution to wine is to always choose red over white - it has a lower sugar content! That makes me feel a lot less guilty when I do indulge! I think your trip will be too much fun for you to really worry about it, though!

Perhaps I misspoke - white wine is higher in sugar! There's a really good comparison chart on here!

Just returned from girls trip...good news...weighed 138.5 this morning!!! I actually did drink red more than white. And I cut back on food calories so I could have more wine calories. Not the healthiest plan but I can get back to healthy eating now. Spring break is just around the corner...

Great article on the wine calorie/ carb content. I have that discussion with friends often. And I do the same thing that you do...cut the food calories to allow for wine calories.
