Vabs: congrats! This is fabulous!!! :) :) :)

Tonimaroni2: I started my weight loss from another end - exercise and became quite fit in the last couple of years (kickboxing and boxing). But I could never ever run. My max mileage was 3miles! Yesterday 49rs played Falcons for the place in a Super Bowl (American football) and I could not take my eyes of the screen. Before I new it, I was finishing my 7th mile! I am super excited of how far I can actually make it! Maybe I should sign up for a race or something ;)

Pinkflakes: welcome!!

Hi guys! I haven't posted on these boards much in the past year. I started following a holiday health challenge November 19 at 140 and am down to 133 now. I'm looking to stay super motivated so thought I would check back in on the forums.

I'd love to be out of the 130s by Vday. :)

You should totally do a race! 7 miles is awesome!

I did my first race last spring (and a few more in the summer). This year it's my goal to do a half marathon. :) races are so much fun, they have great energy.

This morning I weighed in at 139.5, so I am officially in this thread! So excited!! My next mini goal is to be 135! Can't wait for what the next few weeks will hold. Soon my weightloss journey of 15 years will be done!

LiLLy19 01-22-2013 04:26 PM

Hey everyone, I usually hang out in the 20 somethings forum, but there is no 130's thread there so I figured I'd make my way over here.

I weighed in this morning at 138.4 which is the lowest I have ever been in my adult life and it is super exciting!! I was stuck in the low 140's for the better part of 2012 so seeing the numbers drop over the last few weeks has been very encouraging.

chubbiegurl 01-22-2013 06:24 PM

Happy to say goodbye to 130's. I weighed in at 129.8, although I did on Friday too and detoured back to 130's for a couple days. Hope to live in the 120's. Feels great to see that number it's been over 6 years.

emurph 01-23-2013 07:15 AM

Alright! 136.8 this morning. Almost to the mid 130's range!

tonimaroni2 01-23-2013 09:41 AM

I've been hovering around 133 and 132 and its so hard for me to stay motivated!! I'm thinking I should go shopping for new clothes for encouragement. Too bad I'm broke for the next two weeks..

Wildflower 01-23-2013 09:58 AM

I was 132.6 this morning - down a pound from the 133.x I've been over the last week. Yesterday I did hot yoga though, and I am wondering if it is dehydration from this? Generally I find when I do hot yoga or go to a sauna I actually weight a lot more the following day. I assumed my body was clinging on to all the water I drink...or swollen from the heat or something.

Fingers crossed I am seeing 132 again soon, if not tomorrow! :)

tonimaroni2 01-23-2013 10:53 AM

Wildflower - I'm dying to do hot yoga! There are no places that do it where I live and I want to go so bad...

It's great in the winter when it's freezing out! Feels good to sweat. That sucks you don't have a place near you - sounds like a great business opportunity for someone to open one! :)

vabs 01-23-2013 01:25 PM

Good going chubbiegurl! :carrot:

I've always thought hot yoga sounds neat. There's a little yoga studio that opened up a few blocks from me, I'll have to see if they offer a hot yoga class. When I walked past it last saturday their parking lot was JAMMED full, so that seems like a good sign.

Today I weighed in at 132.5! :dizzy: I'm having a big woosh all of a sudden.
I know I already said I'm finding this very surreal... but it's just very surreal you guys!!! :p I've haven't seen numbers this low in such a long time.

Wildflower 01-23-2013 01:40 PM

Awesome Vabs!

I know what you mean about surreal...sometimes I get paranoid my scale is just off or something. lol

I also get this initial confusion when the scale shows me something lower than expected. I am generally focusing on the .X part of the main number (132.6, 132.8) and then sometimes I'll see 131 or 130 and for this split second I'm like, wait, what's happening? Did I go up, did I go down? lol.

chubbiegurl 01-23-2013 01:57 PM

Tonimaroni2 those last few pounds seem to be so hard to lose, don't they?We r both about 3 lbs from goal awesome.
Wildflower I would love to try yoga, my old neighbor didyoga regularly, she was about 70, but if u seen her from behind u would think under 30. I am one of those really shy people though. In hs I was put in aerobics but felt so awkward I switched to weigh training. Wish I could muster up the courage. I really have no rithem or balance though. Two left feet.

sacha 01-23-2013 03:15 PM

I'm new to this one! Hooray, glad to be here finally!
