Here's mine, starting and currant

Starting:
weight--145
bust---38
underbust--don't know, didn't measure there
waist--30
hip--39
thigh--25

Current
weight--still stuck at 111
bust--30
underbust--26
waist--22
hip--31
thigh--19.5

It's a big change and I know I should see a difference but I still don't.

Incidentally buying bras now is an absolute nightmare. The smallest regular bras in the local stores are too big and I can't afford to go to a specialty store or buy online. By default I've resorted to buying sports bras in the girls' department, size 28, the smallest I can find.

And yet I'm sure we look completely different! I have the smallest bones in the world so I still look very fleshy at my height and weight.

SoCalCowgirl 05-22-2012 03:47 PM

Hey guys! I thought i'd give an update on my measurments as I'm still loosing inches :)

Weight: 123.2 Height: 5'3"

Bust: 31.5" (Make them stop shrinking! They've shrunk enough as it is!)
Rib: 29"
Waist: 26"
Hip: 32"
Thigh: 21.5"
Arms: 11"

And I'm now a size 4 in shorts, where I used to be a 13/12 :)

krampus 05-23-2012 02:31 PM

It actually works the opposite. I look the same as a larger-framed person my height would 10-20 lbs heavier!

I've been envious of you small framed girls throughout my entire life and am thinking that if my frame was smaller, I would look much better at my current weight than I do now as an ave/large boned person.

Good luck with getting to the size you want!

But it sux when one gains a few pounds.... When I got married I was 96 pounds... I was thin but; not sickly thin. I have tiny bones (I have broken 5 of them because they snap easy)....so when I got to 170 pounds I was HUGE! Someone else at my height and with medium or large body frame would have looked fine, but I was BIG. Even now at 145 pounds I can easily shed 20-25 pounds and still be "fat" :( :(

It's the same for me. Small-framed people just don't carry any extra weight well and have to be lighter on the scales to look at the same weight as somone with a medium frame.

It also doesn't help that I'm short so even 5 lbs can be noticeable (esp since my face always bloats first).

Astrild 05-24-2012 05:55 PM

What really counts as a small frame? I did the elbow breadth & wrist test once, and it told me I had a small frame... but I didn't really believe it. My limbs are more slender than my trunk imo, so I don't know if it's a good test. Still, I feel like I have to weigh less than average because I also don't carry extra weight very well either. Wish I could be voluptuous and sexy, but it doesn't always happen like that. lol

Jonsgurl0531 05-24-2012 07:05 PM

I just restarted to lose more so I dunno if I'm considered a feather? Hehe. ANyway here are my current measurements

Bust 38
underbust 32
Belly Button 34 (omg would love to be in the 20s x.x)
hips 38
thighs 22
calves 14
upper arms 13 1/2 *dies* They are so huge and gross! At least they are smaller than my calves now.

It's not a great test. Out of three ways to measure frame size, I got three different frame sizes, LOL.

For wrist measurement I get small frame
For elbow breadth I get large frame
For ankle measurement I get medium frame.

I HAVE NO IDEA!!!

I always thought I was large framed, but I think I'm probably small or medium framed. Looking at my clearly-large-framed brothers I can see the difference...they have wider shoulders, thicker wrists, thicker ankles, etc.

Most people in my family are large framed, but occasionally someone pops up here and there with a smaller frame (my great grandfather, my mom, one of my cousins). I might just be one of those anomalies.

Kaitri 05-29-2012 05:25 PM

I'd love to join in! I have never been super "skinny", but I was much more athletic and definitely slender when I was in university. Now that I have a desk job, the pounds (and inches) have packed on. But since I'm only 5'2", I'm like the rest of you - I need to be relatively light to look slender.

Waist: 30"

Belly button: 34"

Hips: 36" (I have relatively small hips and a thick waist...ughhhh)

Thighs: 24.5"

Arms: 11"

I can't wait to see what my measurements look like in a month! How often do you guys measure yourselves?

HungryHungryHippo 05-29-2012 11:56 PM

OK, I'm pretty embarrassed, because everyone's so much thinner than me. But my weight's always been scrunched up in the middle, from my bust to my hips:

Bust 38
Waist 33
Hips 40
Thigh 19
Wrist 5.25

I kind of wonder how low I'd have to go to have a small waist. I have to admit, the only exercise I am doing is walking right now. Last time I was at 102 I still had belly fat, although I could hide it in clothes.

littlelioness 05-30-2012 07:54 PM

i'm at 34-26-41. if the next 23lbs don't come out of my hips and thighs, i'm going to chop my legs off and go for the paraplegic look next summer.

on the off chance that i get to keep my legs, i plan to slowly acquire a wardrobe of only things marilyn monroe would have worn. :)

Dorian5 05-31-2012 08:57 AM

Finally managed to dig out the measuring tape for my restart. Still haven't weighed in though... figured I'll save that special kind of heII for tomorrow. :dizzy: I'm guessing I'm at about 130lbs though.

Bust - 38"
Underbust - 29.5"
Waist - 27"
Hips - 36.5"
Thigh - 21.5"
Arm - 12"

I gain weight in my boobs and my upper arms and retain my chicken legs. :(

Sarahlynn 06-01-2012 09:54 AM

Start: current:

arms: 12 in arms: 11.6 in
waist: 31 in waist: 28.5 in
abs: 39.6 in abs: 34 in
hips: 36 in hips: 34.5 in
thighs: 22.2 in thighs: 20.4 in

Dreamer2012 06-02-2012 01:30 PM

I’ll update this maybe once a month or so.

Start measurements as of 02/06/2012:
Thigh: 20.5"
Calf: 14"
Upper Arm: 10.5"
Wrist: 5.5"
Hips: 41"
Belly: 42"
Waist: 33"
Bust: 37"

LisaTcan 06-02-2012 09:07 PM

I'm also wondering how often people measure?

I said in my reply just above yours, I will update it every month. I think it's better to leave it for a few weeks, rather than checking it every few days. It's similar to weigh in, if you weigh in daily you might feel frustrated if you haven't lost anything. If you measure so close together and haven't lost inches, I feel like it's a similar feeling of frustration.

belmagick 06-06-2012 09:46 AM

Seems I've been the same measurement for months now, I used to measure every month but now the weight is coming off so slowly that I tend to measure every few pounds.

I'm 35-25-35 (30 DD bra size) with 21.5 inch thighs :o Guess where my weight is?

krampus 06-07-2012 10:33 AM

I measured today with a full padded bra because the truth is too depressing:

33-25-34.5 O_O

Munchy 06-07-2012 01:51 PM

Here I go! I just started 30DS and hope to see my 11" of arm fat turn into 11" of muscle...or less (or even more if it means I'm jacked).

Bust:36
Waist:24
Hips:37
Thigh:22
Arm: 11

sumire 06-07-2012 06:38 PM

Woah! You're my exact measurement twin, except my arms are 10.5". Rock on, gal. :D (Also, I need to take your attitude and stop whining about my blasted thighs. :p)

Both of you have amazing measurements. a tiny 24 inch waist?? with a 36 inch bust? WOW

Dreamer2012 06-08-2012 05:07 AM

Where exactly do you measure your waist? Online it gives a lot of different places, so where do you guys measure it. I think I could have done it the wrong place. I measured mine, a little past under my bust if that makes sense.

It depends on what you're measuring for, but generally you measure the smallest part of your waist. This is in a different spot for every woman.

You're much taller than I am! I'm a pudgy (but curvy) little thing, seriously :)

Yeah this is like, unheard of on planet AAAAAA-cups over here. :P It's really cool how differently people of the same weight/height/etc can be proportioned.

I just measured my wrist. 4 3/4" and I'm bloated today.

Astrild 06-08-2012 03:53 PM

^^Are you serious!? I just held up my measuring tape and 4.75" was so tiny. lol Measured myself at 6"... which is supposedly small for my height, but now I don't know!

Not sure where to measure my ankles, but the smallest point was 7.75"... With a 28.5" underbust, might I have a small or medium frame? I still don't know.

LeilaJey 06-08-2012 03:59 PM

I have 6" wrists too and they look the same as they always did. Even when I was heavier they were always slim, like I could always fully see the bone. Now the rest of me... I'm not measuring anything else until this bloat goes away. :D

Now to check back in a month and see what's happened! Hopefully a smaller waist.

Okay, it's been a month!

Bust - 31.5"
Underbust - 27.5"
Waist - 25"
Hips -33.5"
Thigh - 18.5"

Weight - 104lbs

Total inches lost - 5.5"
Weight lost - 5"

Unfortunately I've felt that a lot of it has been from my bust which has made me sad but at least I now have a better defined waist! And even though I've only lost 0.5" from my hips, it feels like more as the skinny jeans that were tight a month ago, I can now (just!) wiggle out of without undoing the button and zip :D!

And Krampus 4 3/4" inch wrists are tiny! I'm built small and mine are 5".

MrMagpie 06-22-2012 04:44 PM

My first post as a member of the site! Hoping to start some weight lifting in addition to my cardio soon.

Bust: 34"
Waist: 27 1/2"
Hips: 36"
Thigh: 21"
Arm: 11 1/2"
Wrist: 6 1/2"

Weight: 113lbs

luckystreak 06-25-2012 06:43 PM

thigh - 24
waist - 30
hips - 37!!!! this I want to get down asap

All in all I want to lose another 2-4 inches in my body... Actually I love what I look like now, but I hate my love handles so everywhere else will have to proportionally shrink too.

valeried316 06-27-2012 01:13 PM

Starting Measurements =)

Arm: 10"
Bust: 35"
Waist: 27.5"
BB: 31.5"
Hips: 37.5
Thigh: 21.5"

I have just started taking working out & eating right on 6/20/12. I will measure again on July 20th =)

krampus 07-03-2012 03:56 PM

It's been a while.

Bust: 30.5 lolol
Waist: 24.5
Hips: 34.5

Nothing's really changed. That's OK!

sumire 07-03-2012 06:07 PM

Started my last push toward getting leaner a couple of weeks ago. My theory that my thighs, as the last refuge of fat stores, would have to shrink seems to be not too off the mark. They've gone down from 22" to 21.5". Hard to know how much I've lost, as I'm bouncing around due to TOM right now, but I think a couple of pounds or so.

waist: 24 (same)
bellybutton: 27.5 (-1)
hips: 35 (-.5)
butt: 37 (same)
bust: 36 (same-- I do expect shrinkage here :))
ribcage: 28.5 (-.5)
thighs: 21.5 (-.5)

Start measurements as of 02/06/2012:
Thigh: 20.5"
Calf: 14"
Upper Arm: 10.5"
Wrist: 5.5"
Hips: 41"
Stomach: 42"
Waist: 33"
Bust: 37"
Update as of 03/07/2012:
Thigh: 19.25" (-1.25)
Calf: 13.75" (-0.25)
Upper Arm: 10.25" (-0.25)
Wrist: 6" (+0.5. I wonder could I have just measured this wrong the first time)
Hips: 39.5" (-1.5)
Stomach: 41" (-1)
Waist: 34" (I believe I measured this too far up the last time.)
Bust: 37" (-)
Underbust: 33" (New measurement which was probably the same at my first set of measurements)

Total inches: -3.75 :carrot:
Although, how is it possible I have lost inches but not a big loss in weight? I've lost only 2lbs since June 1st but I have noticed my jeans have been a bit loose on me though. Could this be from the walking I have been doing? Come on stomach and hips! Time to shift that weight off... I'm not too bothered about my legs or arms. I'm comfortable with them. I know a lot of ladies don't like to lose from the bust but I'm hoping to go down a back size or even two with a couple of cup sizes at that. Overall, pretty pleased!
