Lisa: welcome back on the bandwagon!
Sucks to have a bad knee like that. Will the weightlifting and thus improving your muscles around your knees make it possible to someday run again or is that just out of the question? I spent a lot of time on the crosstrainer and go swimming a lot. Both pretty calorie-burning activities if you just stay at high intensity. krampus: Yeh, I see how you can be content at your weight! I'm sure you look pretty darn good. It's funny how we all seem to change our goals from slimming down to turning our body into strong and lean machines.

jayohwhy: oh, that's soon already! Goodluck, I am sure you will reach your goal or get so close it doesn't really matter either way. You've come a long ways already. I am turning 27 in july also. There's no way I am gonna be in the 130s still.

I just did the dumbest and coolest thing in ages. Haha. I went running barefoot again, only the second time ever. And it's really somethign you have to ease into. But I was running and my pace was so steady and fast and I did not feel tired. Instead of a slow 2mile run I went 3.2miles/5k and for the first time since I started running did it under half an hour. 29.20mins!! On my nikes I usually take about 32 to 34 minutes. It's weird.
But, I am gonna pay dearly for this. Have pretty bloodblisters on the soles of my feet under my big toes. Oops. No shin pain though!
Also did my weightlifting again. People who know me are starting to see me as a sporty person. I was never that person but the past few months I've been so active, more and more every week. It's weird, I still view myself as the girl that sits on the couch lazy all day long. I do actually, when I am not exercising. But I exercise 1 to 2 times a day and have about 1 or 2 rest days a week.

you go girl!
