Tyla - sucks to hear you had no weight loss! Neither did I :( I've plateaued big time.

Pixie, I also cut up celery for a snack. Raw mushrooms are good, too

Have a great weekend, everyone!

Tyla,
Do you post your menu and exercise anywhere on 3FC boards? Maybe some of us could check out your menus and provide feedback.

Hi all. How is everybody doing on their plan today?

I had a good dinner last night. I ate 1/2 of a Kashi roasted vegetable pizza (very thin, whole grain crust) for ~375 calories and then had a cup of frozen mango chunks (they are really yummy when you let them thaw out a little so they are partly frozen/partly chewy...it's like having desert) for ~100. And I was full. :)

LisaTcan 02-01-2012 09:19 AM

Hey! Ugh..i'm not doing well at all. I had a terrible weekend!! I might post my intake for a few days to see if I can get back on track

PixieChix 02-01-2012 09:51 AM

I'm sorry you aren't doing well. As Ange says, one good day on plan and you'll feel better about yourself and your goals! Let us know how your day goes.

One of my bff's used to say "Never look backward, always move forward."

Simple and true.

Thanks PixieChix and girl 81

Yesterday wasn't great but wasn't terrible

Breakfast - Kashi bar
Lunch - Salad and smoked duck
Snack - apple and a cookie
Dinner - Vegan chili and french bread and a glass of wine
still it brought me to 1700 calories. Today will be good :)

Hey Chicks:

Sorry I haven't checked in for a while... I've been off plan. Not too much. A meal here... a snack there. I've tried to avoid the biggies (processed food, sugar), but I admit that a little bit has crept back into my diet. I feel like a total failure, but I am determined to start anew tomorrow.

I also kind of went through this whole "awakening" thing when I realized that I spend/waste a lot of time blogging and such. So I dumped my blogs (well, most of them) and have been looking for positive way to spend my time. Aside from spending it with my kids, I think I am going to focus on making healthier meals for my family and getting more physical activity for me and the kids. I spend WAY too much time on my rear end. So hopefully, this will turn into a good thing for me.

PixieChix 02-07-2012 02:14 PM

Howya doin' today, banana?

tyla 02-08-2012 11:09 PM

Haven't posted for a while, because I messed up this weekend. But the last four days have been great. And I feel so much better for it! I like that saying, "Never look backward, always move forward." Thanks, girl81!

I am joining this! I need to see some loss and I know it's not happening because I am not keeping myself accountable. I plan on posting my daily deficit numbers here. As I promised myself I'm gonna strive for a 700cal deficit a day.

Yesterday, feb 8: -900

Luckenstein 02-09-2012 05:27 PM

Sure, I'll try it.
Thus far today I've been super-good.
Just one more meal to go and exercise to do. My goal exercise regimen is at least 4 times a week.

LisaTcan 02-09-2012 07:07 PM

I've back to 135, but I want to kick in into high gear to drop my last 10lbs.
Had a good day today, 1450 cals and heading to the gym now.

philana 02-10-2012 02:23 AM

had a -720 deficit yesterday. (total with day before=1620)

PixieChix 02-10-2012 08:05 AM

I've been doing pretty good lately. My muffin top is shrinking and I feel more comfortable in my body. I'm grateful.

Ange...what is a calorie deficit? I'm not familiar with that concept.

JoJoP 02-10-2012 12:53 PM

Still 135, which is good considering the cracker toffee I ate yesterday <__<;;

Woke up early this morning to go to the supermarket for some greens and red peppers so I can have a nice salad tonight :)

PixieChix 02-10-2012 03:46 PM

Kind of disappointed.... I wasn't hungry for dinner last night. I'm not sure why. But instead of listening to my body, I went ahead and ate. At least it was only a 500 calorie dinner. But I wish I had been able to just wait until I was hungry.

Tonight is Red Robin night. That means burger and fries. I always get the kids burger, so at least it's smaller. But I really need to toss out over half the fries.

philana 02-10-2012 04:48 PM

after the -900 day I have had 2 -700 days. So deficit is at 2300 now. I better be losing some weight or I am going nuts. Doing low carb for the past 2 days, so about 50g carb, 50g fat and 105g protein. I feel fit. I stay at 1200 calories, I know it's low but after weeks of 1300-1500 I just need to do something different.

LisaTcan 02-10-2012 08:44 PM

Philiana - I hope you lose! it'll be annoying if you don't!!

I had a 1400 calories day, yestherday ended up at 1600 but I also worked out for an hour.. I did better then usual with my carbs today. I also had really low sugar. I'm going to start new weight lifting rules for women on Wednesday.

Pixiechix - I hate it when i eat when i'm not hungry!

Jojo - congrats on the salad!! I always feel good having a veggie based dinner

tyla 02-10-2012 11:14 PM

Did well today. cals: 1480, exercised for 30 min.

HAPPY FRIDAY, EVERYONE!

JoJoP 02-11-2012 04:38 PM

Lisa, I just started lifting weights too!

Getting home late tonight, hope I won't be *starving* -_-; I only got in half an hour of treadmill yesterday, I really have to be better about doing a full 45 min, especially considering how sedentary I am otherwise!

tyla 02-13-2012 09:40 PM

1490 cals, exercised for 30 min. Tomorrow I have a dance class, so I know I'll do 60 min.
