Default Questionnnnnnnnnnn

OK I have a question!!

I have recently kicked all white carbs and even whole grain bread out of my diet. The past few days I have ate nothing but fruits, veggies, chicken, eggs and nuts. It feels great eating so clean! BUT I am a littler nervous. My carbs are rather high because of all the fruits and sweet potatoes. Today they were a little higher because I had 2 bananas and 2 sweet potatoes! My carbs are going to reach about 200g today!

My question is, does this matter if my calories are still 1500? I know fruits can slow down weightloss but does it really slow down fatloss in the long run?

TO make up for the extra 50g of carbs I ate than I normally do, I am working out for the second time after work today..

Please tell me all what you think. I love this way of eating but the carbs SCARE me.

What is going to slow fat loss is if your not eating enough protein, then you risk muscle wasting. But if you are getting the amount of protein in that your lean body mass needs within that 1500 cals, your body will lose at your caloric deficit, bananas and all.

Carbohydrates are a very important macro-nutrient in your diet. They are the thing that gives you ENERGY to workout. While 200 is a little high on a 1500cal diet, you should not feel the need to make up for it.

Here's a calculator to figure your needs.

Might I humbly suggest that the exclusion of any particular food group is not very healthy? I do watch refined carbs - but carbs from whole grains, fruits and veggies are the foundation of your diet. Don't be afraid of them!

OH no I am not excluding anything. Hence why I made this post. I feel I have too much of this macronutrient. I dont believe in eliminating anything either. Unless it is bad for you. And I believe white carbs and processed breads are bad for you. I eat fruits literally all day long!! I love them

Thanks for your opinions ladies!!
