So true. I hit GW twice this year (finally!) and for every week "off-plan" afterwards, I gained back 1-2lbs (by not exercising and eating fast food). Ugh... So frustrating, but at least we shake ourselves into realizing it and getting back on track.. it's a pain, but we can work our butts off again.. and like you said, make it a lifestyle and not fall off wagon.. 6 lbs must be a (bad) magic number for featherweights.. I got down to 113, got off track and two months later weighed 118 (GRR!!)... kicked myself back into gear 3 weeks ago and today weighed 115.. It might take a month, but we can chase the lbs off
again.. Kinda like Shan said, at least we learned the "lesson" quick and are getting back on track before it gets worse.
