Default Do you have 'em? Do you want 'em?

Dumbest question ever. This is going to show my biggest body insecurity. LOL!

I look around at the gym and I see these tiny women. They're tiny all the way around, every single one of them. They have no chest, and I admire that!

I feel like I have the potential to be tiny. I have small bones. I wear a size 4 ring and AAA narrow shoe...actually one foot is a AAAA. I feel like I look in the mirror (which is freakishly unavoidable at the gym) and I like what I see. But once I start looking around comparing, all I see is my gigantic chest. (32 G).

Do you think most women WANT that and I'm lucky? Because I feel the opposite of lucky. I have always just wanted to feel normal and this is making me feel anything but normal. I'm one of those who developed early, like second grade early, and I've just always wanted to be like all the other little girls. Now that I'm back to the same weight I was when I was in college, all the old feelings are cropping up. Now I remember why I always hated this body.

And no, a reduction is neither feasible nor necessary. I think I'm probably just fine. I just don't think I'm ever going to look like "them".

OMG! I can totally answer this post. I recently lost weight in my boobs. I have always had a nice full C. Everyone used to ask me if my boobs were fake. I am so incredibly upset that I have near nothing now. I have NEVER had nothing. This is so foreign to me. Ok you all get the point lol But basically I would LOVE to have my old boobs back but keep my smaller figure. I blame the crash diet I did in April. Thats when they went bye bye. Be grateful for yours little lady!!! People pay big bucks for small figures and big boobs

Why be one of "them" when you can be the special "one" they all talk and wish they were like!

i have'em. most of the time i like them. i could use a bit more 'perkiness', but later chest exercises could help a little.

i sometimes feel jealous of the flat girls, bc they can wear all these cute tops....'shelf bra'? are you kidding me? when i'm stuck wearing not 1 but 2 sports bras. now i'm a bit smaller, i think i could wear just one exercising if i get a little smaller. already, its more comfortable. i can sleep in my w/o clothes now.

overall, i think most girls(that are small) wish they were a bit larger on top. and the twins help when it's time to get dressed for date night

LOL! I hear that most girls want them, but they look so cute I don't believe them! LOL! Katy, like you said...cute tops!! Shelf bras! All my workout gear have them. As if I could ever spin or run with a shelf bra!

Diane, I ask myself the question. I really do. But I don't feel special...I feel over the top.

I had 'em, before a reduction six years ago. I know that a lot of big-boobed women enjoy having them. But I was a shy person and never happy about the attention they attracted. And they prevented me from doing much exercise.

For many years I thought a reduction was not feasible or necessary either. Then one weekend fooling around on the internet, started doing some research. A couple of months later, asked my GP for a recommendation, and saw two surgeons for consultation. I settled on the one he had recommended, a woman who did at least one reduction a week. She took one look and said, "Yes, your insurance will cover this." It was all much easier than I thought it would be, and although I have scars, I am ridiculously happy being "normal". And although I didn't think I was suffering physical effects from carrying the weight (I was worried that I would have to say no if the insurance company asked), I actually was and had just adapted to it; my back and neck felt relief almost immediately.

It may not be possible now, but it's worth checking out. And don't rule it out for "someday".

i dont have em...never really did ( at my heaviest i was in a B cup)
At this point they are cmpletely non-existent. Like, im wearing my 10 year olds TRAINING Bra, non-existent (TRUE!) ON the one hand, i DO wish i had a little something on top -- anything i wear that is even remotely low cut, gapes HORRIBLY open, because i have nothing to fill the front of the top or dress. And it makes womens clothes/dresses/tops look not right on me, a large portion of the time, because womens clothes are designed for boobies!! lol

On the other hand, my lack of a chest DEFINTELY is a plus when it comes to my running.... i cant imagine how uncomfortable it must be to run with those things bouncing around

I have them and do not want them. When I turned 17, I was 115 lbs and a D cup. I got much unwanted attention from men/boys When I was nursing each of my kids, I was just freaking huge, I don't even know how huge, but a DDD was too small. After nursing, I was a DD.

One of the biggest reasons I chose to lose weight is because I wanted a reduction/tummy tuck, but I knew I had to lose weight before I put myself through that. I'm now a 34D and feeling ok with it, but I hope they shrink to a C or even B at goal (not likely!)

I know people always say they want big boobs. But seriously, I'm only 30 and definitely am a little saggy thanks to pregnancies. People with small boobs are not as likely to have the sag. I mean I still like my boobs, they're still full and not too bad, but they have seen better days lol. They look very nice when wearing a bra and just ok without one. I would love to just wear those nipple stickers/no bra, or cute tanks, strapless sundresses, tube tops etc. Instead I'm stuck wearing a bra all the time with 3 stinkin hooks, shoulder grooves, backaches & headaches. haha I too laugh about the shelf bra. I double bag my boobs every work out too

I wear a 34B cup, and I like them. They were a little bigger (but no more than a B) when I was heavier but I prefer small boobs. I don't like the look of big boobs.

Well I had them..nice full C's and sometimes D's when I was heavier and loved my gals. But then I had a baby and there they went. I haven't been this small since high school and even though I miss the fullness, I really don't miss them being large. They actually made me look bigger than I was. SO overall I am actually happy with them at this size but know they will probably get smaller the more I lose. The hubby will just have to deal with it...he's a boob guy.

I swear, the last five pounds have come off my bust. I've dropped from a 34G to a 34E,and I could not be happier about it. And given I'm so tall and have a fairly large frame, I think a 34 band is about as small as I can expect to go (seriously, you can clearly see and feel every one of my ribs) and I STILL wouldn't mind dropping another cup size.

I'm a DD and I have a love/hate relationship with my girls. Sometimes I am totally happy that I have big ones, other days I am praying they will shrink as my weight goes down. I like them for vanity reasons and dislike them for practicality. Either way, I'll be okay. Just look at the bright side of things! I'm sure some of those tiny women you saw wish they had a bigger bust. The grass is always greener...

It's funny you say this. It's actually around men I am MORE comfortable with them and around women that I am less comfortable. Women don't seem to like them on other women. And no, I'm not an attention hog. The men just seem to get past them or ignore them. At least the men in my life do!! LOL! Or they tease about them but you always know where they stand.

I used to have nice ones when I was on birth control....but due to migraines that is no longer possible. i'm 27 and I feel like they're sagging a big, i don't like them anymore. i've always told myself once i got to a good stable healthy weight i'd consider getting them done....i'd love a nice full C on a toned small body, i like that look.

i seem to be moving in the wro ng direction weight-wise, though.

I am pretty much your polar opposite. There is nothing petite/tiny/etc about me in any way - I have size 11 shoes, WIDE shoulders and ribcage, and big ol' muscles. And yet, my chest? Practically non-existent. Even at 295 lbs, I was barely a B-cup. I think having a chest would make me look more proportional (right now I'm kind of built like a boy, except that I have a butt I built through lots of squats and lunges).
