Oh changed that is so good and I am sure that it will rush off with the ahem water weight ahem. Sorry to hear about the lab... :(

Krampus no worries about the pizza, I hope you WON ;) . Now we move on and we beat the lbs.

Dianne partying and maintaining. Winner.

neurodoc That sounds like a good plan. I have no idea what I will be maintaining on... that's if I ever get there!

Two of my friends have started working in the same area as me, as well as moving to the same street where I live! In a big city like London, this is pretty rare. They are both going to join my gym (which means the gym gives me goodies, yay) and on Wednesday we are going to Body Pump. This is what I am most excited for because until now I've been too scared to go to classes. Except have just found out that Body Pump uses weights, which until now I have avoided...

Scale wasn't as successful as I hoped this morning. Didn't budge. Hoping for a whoosh tomorrow.

Night night feathers xx

I didn't win, but I tied for second with another friend who is a UK size 10!

This morning I was at 59.3 kg - just about 130.5 lbs. Meaning I'm back in business. I feel incredibly motivated and inspired to keep at this. I bet I can get to 130.0 by Halloween no problem!

Changed 10-25-2010 09:55 PM

Today was a success except that my little boy talked me into baking him an apple pie. I didn't use any butter or anything too bad though.

I ended up going back to the lab today and having TWO more blood draws but hopefully this time it all gets done. :)

You girls are so inspiring making progress so steadily. I bet it doesn't feel like it to you but it's amazing to watch!

krampus 10-26-2010 08:37 AM

YESSSSS!!!!

OK, so it doesn't really count since it was right after a run, but this evening after my run I weighed 58.8 kg. That's 129.4 lbs - broke the tens barrier!!! I hope it will be a continuing trend.

Hope everyone is doing well.

neurodoc 10-26-2010 08:57 AM

Finally, below 130 2 days in a row (again; you may recall I had just done this prior to going to London, 3 weeks ago). Disgusted with how long it took to get back below 130. I will NOT be indulging in any Halloween candy. Unfortunately, we have both my middle son's birthday (on the 29th) and MY birthday (on Halloween itself) to get through. Then, nothing until turkey day, thank god.

DoraUK 10-26-2010 03:58 PM

Hurrah, am so glad people are dipping their toes into the pool of the 120's.

So this morning I went up (again) even though I have been completely on plan and exercising. Hope that it is just a bit of bloat and that I will have a whoosh tomorrow!

It's my first official weekly weigh-in for this new plan I've been doing and I am currently the EXACT same weight as I was when I started last week. Even though on Saturday I was 2 pounds lighter. Sigh. Just want something to show for how good I've been.

LindsB 10-26-2010 05:07 PM

Dora- I want the same thing! Some evidence of all my hard work!!!!!! heres to hoping we both get some scale validation soon!

krampus 10-26-2010 08:57 PM

I'm at 59.1 this morning. TOM starts today and I was a little high on calories yesterday (1600 ish).

NSV - my thighs don't touch!

neurodoc 10-26-2010 11:06 PM

Krampus, congratulations. I remember having that epiphany about 6 weeks ago (still hot enough outside to care). It is absolutely the greatest thing to not have your thighs touch/rub together when you walk.

Hey Ladies! I have been away for a while and am ready to get back in the game! I see a lot of new faces and some old, so I wanted to Introduce myself. I am a teacher living overseas. I got married this summer and was a dedicated poster on here to help me lose and maintain my weight until my wedding. I gained after I got married, mostly due to a hectic summer and a lot of moving and traveling.

I went to the doctor the other day and weigh 130 pounds, 8 up from my wedding!!!! I would love to get back to 122!

Hope everyone is doing well!

DoraUK 10-27-2010 05:13 AM

Am writing this on long train journey so forgive me if I miss anyone out or misspell people's names.

Maenad! So good to have you back. You've been missed.

Krampus (ha my iPhone thinks I mean jealous! I am a little) great news on both the scale and non-scale victory.

So it was my 1st weekly weigh-in on my new food and exercise plan. I hadn't budged at all, so it looks like I've lost nothing. Although as I've said I was at some point lower over the weekend.

But there were a couple of NSVs both my waist and thigh were 0.5 inch less. In a week! While my boobies and butt remained the same. Woo.

Therefore am so sure that weight isn't budging due to pre-TOM bloat.

Wishing you all the best! xx

kat999 10-27-2010 07:09 AM

Good morning! So good to see everybody having little victories! Woo hoo!

Unfortunately, it's my TOM, and I've bloated up three pounds. I know it's not real, permanent weight, this is normal for me, but it's still vaguely annoying. I think I'm going to stay off the scale until next week. ;)

OTOH, I suppose when I do see those three pounds magically fall off in a couple of days, that'll feel like a new triumph, even if it's just an illusion. *heh*

LindsB 10-27-2010 09:03 AM

maenad- Welcome back! I gained 8lbs after my wedding in May! UGH! It did teach me a valuable lesson though now that I am losing the same 8lbs again! I can't wait for them to go away plus some!!!

dora- inches lost is AWESOME! I think I am going to start taking my measurements as well since the scale wanting to tell me much of anything but my clothes are looser.

maenad 10-27-2010 09:14 AM

LindsB: yeah, working your *** of to lose the same 8 pounds you lost a few months ago sucks! Good luck with your weight loss, I hope we both hit our goals!!

Changed 10-27-2010 11:32 AM

What is it with 8 pounds? I gained 8 back after my husband returned from deployment. Well, maybe 10 but 8 was what stuck.

It's very cold here today. I'm so tempted to make hot tea and knit under a blanket on the couch instead of work out but I put on my work out clothes and i'm trying to get motivated.
