Just needed a place to celebrate for a minute. . . .
1. I'm down to under 137 pounds! (136 and some ounces--my scale is a bit unreliable).
2. Mom served manicotti tonight--a favorite of mine! I limited it to one tube! When I wanted seconds, I had more salad (just vegetables, no dressing) and a TINY piece more of bread--and I'm still within my calorie limits! I love that I'm able (at this point in my life) to eat things I love, in moderation, and feel as stuffed and satisfied as I do right now.
3. Because I am so stuffed, I didn't have any of the ice cream she served.
4. I've already filled up my giant water bottle to prevent any extra snacking during Bible study tonight (we host one at our house, and we always serve treats--brownies tonight). Plus, I plan to offer/make for myself some tea. I found while avoiding dessert last night that it is a great belly-filler.
5. I've exercised four times this week. Couldn't do it today--got up late, it was VERY hot, and it rained this afternoon to boot--but I did 25 minutes worth of intermediate pilates, which has to count for something!
6. My mom asked me how much manicotti I wanted and didn't question it. This has improved greatly in the last two weeks or so.
Thanks for putting up with this brag, but I'm just so excited!
