face thinned out

  • I'm not a featherweight now due to pregnancy but I was 10 lbs from my goal.
I was 130 for years up until I was 26 then the weight started piling on. My goal has always been to get back to that weight but one thing I've noticed from pictures I took at my ending weight (141) was that my face thinned out a lot due to aging I guess but I'm only 35.
So now I'm wondering if I should keep my goal at 130? Last thing I want is to look too thin.
Has this stopped anyone from reaching their goal?
  • Actually, when I lose weight and also lose it in my face, I like my face a lot better than when I am 10-15lbs heavier... Cheek bones look good...
  • I know when I was younger I wished my face would thin out so that I no longer looked like a kid. Then when I gained weight my face got wider so losing that chubbiness was a shock. I do love my cheek bones though, I just wonder if I looked too thin.
  • I can't relate personally, because I'm 22 and cursing the round Chinese baby-face that makes me look like a college freshman. I'd have to lower my goal weight to make my face look decent. But in general, it's a good idea to choose the goal weight that you feel best at. If you feel the healthiest and most energetic at 130, don't worry about what your face looks like. But if you find that you feel as weak as your face looks, don't worry about upping it 5-10 pounds. You would be well within a healthy range for your BMI at 140.
