hello all...
 
I've seen a lot of runners on here..I've never been a runner, but wouldn't mind being able to jog some day.... does it get easier if you're not overweight? I find a lot of pain breathing and with my knees.

Anyway, so far I'm not reaching my February goal by 5 lbs or so...maybe 4 by the time I weigh in tomorrow. As it is now I need 11lbs to make the March goal (Spring goal).... wish me luck! ;)

oh, yes about the gazelle. I have an older model (less sporty?) than the one that's out. I find that it is a lot of fun, that it doesn't seem to burn a ton really, but it's fun enough not to matter as much. Def seems to build the calf muscles. Might want to put it on a rug or something it will travel on ya. :carrot:

hey! The last 2 days have sucked. working all day, no time to work out. Blah, i feel really bad. I also know i have over eaten each day. Not by much, but just enough to feel bloated. I am planning a big grocery store run tomorrow for more healthy munchies. I am also going to get a good, long work out in tomorrow after class. I am starting a new private student this week, so i will continue to be busy....

I feel ya maenad-- i just went overboard munching on chips and salsa... i'm at 1100-1200 cals for the day now, when today was supposed to be a low day (1200-1300 cals)!! Good news is I think I can get away with not eating much else for the day, esp since I'm pretty full right now, haha. But still! Not healthy man.

At least I got in an hour of cardio and a half hr of yoga/stretching today. ah well, tomorrow is a new day.

Yep, I was able to get away with not eating again last night. I'm already at 460 cals for today, and it's supposed to be another low day. I'll try to keep it healthy and filling for the rest of the day, and drink lots of water; I really need to see a low on the scale soon, I'm getting awfully discouraged. Not my official WI day, but I stepped on the scale for a peek anyway: 158 today, which I know is water (esp bc of the salty chips and salsa yesterday), but still-- that didn't feel great.

Good news is that my Gazelle should get here today! I'm excited to do a workout other than walking. And I hope it helps get some of this weight to move. ugh :rolleyes:

I'm feeling better today. Drank a bunch of water and stuck to my calories yesterday :carrot: but TOM is near, so I'm feeling a little bloated and pudgy, and probably more irritated than I should! stupid TOM! Got my Gazelle and did 30 mins last night! Planning an hour this morning, along with some sit ups, push ups, and squats. Should be a good day! :hug: to all

Hi, shasha, I'm here! Sounds like you're doing great. I bet you will get a whoosh once TOM is gone.

I have had a cold/flu thing since Saturday, so I was totally off plan for 4 days. I didn't go totally crazy, but ate what felt right a the time - lots of juice and things like lemon sorbet. Started fat smash detox again yesterday. I weighed in today and am only up .6, so very happy about that. Was back at the gym last night, but only did 20 minutes. I'm still not 100%.

Got my copy of Extreme Fat Smash form the library and am thinking of starting it next week. It looks really strict though. But I would love to take off some more weight quickly with spring coming. I need to get in lots more cardio. I also got Jilian's 30day shred from the library - looking forward to starting that - probably tomorrow, depending how I'm feeling.

hey! I'm still here as well! Just too busy to come to 3FC everyday!

I have ran the past few days. feeling good. I start a new class tomorrow, plus have a private tonight. Blah, I enjoyed my easy weekend last week too much! But i guess i need the hours seeing as though i will be taking a week off this month to go to Amsterdam.

I am trying not to smoke. Its hard. I just had too many yogurt covered Raisins to curb myself from smoking. I think i'll head for the carrots next.

I keep feeling like i eat too much, but once i count the calories it isn't even over my goal. I am continuing to stay the same weight, but that basically means i am loosing (my fat is turning to muscle and muscle weighs more than fat) Not going to weigh myself for a few days...

I'm still hanging around... I've been so amazingly well behaved lately that I just can't believe myself... and for that I've lost 3lbs so far this month. I think I should see a loss again tomorrow of some sort. This puts me at needing 8lbs by the first day of spring. :D It seems like a lot to me right now but if I behave I might be able to pull it off.

I am down 1 lb. this week - THRILLED because I was sick and off plan for 4 days.

Have been back at the gym the last 3 days, including this morning. Made it through Zumba!(tm) last night too.

I want my ticker back!

Natamars- that's great! Down despite being sick, your body must understand how hard you're working! lol!

I've been doing more cardio lately. I got 5 hours in last week (mon-sun), plus push ups, abs, and squats here and there. jumped on the scale this morning. I've been trying to stay off of it bc of TOM; 156.4 this morning, but we'll see after TOM's left! :hug: to all!

well i've been really lazy this week. no counting cals, very little working out, etc. Ugh, I only have 2 MONTHS until the weddings I'm going to... which means, I only have 2 months until I see a ton of people I haven't seen in almost a year! Last time any of them saw me in person, I was 173 lbs!

I just did an hour of cardio + push ups, abs, and dumbbell rows. Must get some of this weight moving!

Shasha, I have a wedding to go to as well, May 29. Last time these people saw me was my own wedding, 15 years ago--at my most stunning, 125 pounds! I cringe to think of myself showing up over 40 pounds heavier. So that's part of my motivation as well.

Plus, think of it, we'll get to buy a new dress! I'm so tired of squeezing into the same few things that still sorta fit.

One of my lowest points was last summer at a big family wedding, at my fattest, looking and feeling dowdy, all the while surrounded by the beautiful thin young bride, bridesmaids and guests, all in these lovely summer dresses. Meanwhile I'm squeezed into practically a full-body spanx, dripping hot in the heat and humidity.

Then six months later I turn up, looking pregnant, in the group family photo that the bride's parents sent around as a Christmas card! :-(
