  • Oh, I love red, orange or yellow peppers YUM ....
  • Green beans, I have ones that are 15 calories for half a cup, and they fill me up great.
  • i like sugar free pudding (chocolate, the caramel kind is weird because caramel IS sugar), a handful of green olives (with good fat!), raw broccoli, Orbit gum, coffee with soy creamer, and/or pickles. mmm crunchy salty things.
  • I have no idea how many calories this would be because If I'm eating fruits or veggies I don't bother with calories but my big thing lately has been 1/2 granny smith apple sliced and I sprinkle cinnamon on them and a bottle of water , it pretty much works for me every time it last me at least another hour if not two if I'm STILL hungry after that and water I just go to bed early or else I will be to tempted to start binging eep....
  • Pickles and sugar free jello.
  • I have been eating tons of pickled onions lately - a whole massive jar is only about 40 calories and it takes me a few days to get through it.

Do you think you can have too much vinegar?
  • Okay, you need to be careful because pickles are actually a lot of calories if you eat the big ones. Small, baby dill pickles are about 5 calories for 3 pickles though, so I would go with those.

Small strawberries are 2 calories per strawberry. Med. sized are 4 cal, and large strawberries are 6 cal each. Most fruit is really high in calories, but I find that strawberries are easier to portion out because they are always small, individual berries.

Tic Tacs are 1 calorie each.

Certs are about 5 or 10 calories each.

Most chewing (not bubble) gum is 5 calories or less per piece.

You can eat as much celery as you want, because as most people know, it burns more calories to eat it than it contains, so you are consuming negative calories.

    Diet Pop is 0 calories.

1 serving of fresh spinach is only 2 calories. You are safe with any green leafy vegetable. If you need some more taste, buy the I can't believe it's not butter spray, which is like, 1 calorie for 10 squirts or something.

    Hope I helped.
  • Pickled onions are only 10 cals per 100g if you don't get the sweetened ones with added sugar. An entire jar drained weight is only about 400g, hence 40 cals.

    See, I can read labels
  • I don't think you can get too much vinegar... sodium, yes, but not vinegar.
  • What are certs?
  • Quote: What are certs?
    Breath mints.
  • Certs are breath mints. Yuck. Maybe it's just me, but if I need a snack, a certs or tic tac isn't going to do it.

Certs remind me of my grandfather who was an alcoholic. He ate them constantly.
  • Hey Robsia,
I'm a vinegar freak too, and your question made me curious. Several websites mentioned that 2 tablespoons a day can have health benefits, but it's easier on your system if it's diluted. Too much vinegar can cause heartburn, digestive problems, and be corrosive to your teeth. I'm getting mixed signals on the effects it has on the liver. Too much vinegar can cause very acidic urine, which may kill off some necessary helpful bacteria you may need "down there" (My ob/gyn told me this because I asked him about this months ago, lol)
It can also lower potassium levels in the body and lower bone density. It can also interact with several medications. I think your onions would be fine, as long as you are drinking lots of water. Are you just eating the onions, or are you drinking the liquid in the jar as well? Sorry if that's a dumb question; I just know some people like drinking pickle juice.
I used webmd for this search and a few other sites that seemed fairly reputable. I didn't use any sites where regular people can chime in their answers (like this one, ha ha!)
  • No - I'm not drinking the vinegar - just eating the onions - but obviously they are full of vinegar too.
  • A popsicle has been doing the trick for me...nice and cold and only 20 calories!
