Default should I stop losing weight??

hey girls I was just going over my list of things that I wouldn´t miss about being overweight, and things that I hoped a slimmed body would make me achieve. Such as feeling confident in a bikini, being proud of my body, having a lot of self-confidence and fitting into my old clothes that I´ve been keeping as a motivation. I just realised when I went over those lists that I have achieved everything on them and I really like my body right now. Sure it´s not perfect and I could lose a bit more, so I was just wondering if maybe i will like my body even more a bit slimmer or if I should just stop? What do you guys think?

well, this i think you have to ask yourself honestly.
Ask yourself this question "do you want to lose more weight, or can stay this weight forever and happy with it ?"
You can also try to lose few more pounds (not much, just 3-4 pounds) and see if you happier with that as another idea. If you're not happy, then you can stop losing weight, and maintenance. If you happy to lose more weight then you know what you need to ^^
Good luck.

I honestly think only you can answer that! I'm the sort of person who would keep going just so I could prove to myself that I could do it. But if you've hit your goals and are happy as you are then I don't see why you can't stop. Well done !

Why not take a little breather and just try to maintain for a few months and then you can re-assess what you want to do later.

I agree with the above. I would maintain for a while, get used to where you're at, and then re-evaluate.
Congrats on your achievement!!

if you keep up good eating and exercise habits you'll probably slowly lose the rest (and maybe more than target) anyway instead of actively 'dieting' to get rid of the last 6 lbs

thank you all for your responses I´m thinking about continuing with my exercise regime but upping up my calories a little bit, and just take it slower and see how I feel. I don´t want to lose weight just to see a smaller number on the scale if I´m perfectly happy with my body. It´s also good to practice maintainance for a while
