Default Finally!

Well, I broke through that lengthy plateau at 145 . I was hovering at 143-144 this morning, and I'm a happy girl. I tweaked my food a bit, exercised a bit more, but mostly, I just tried to be patient. I know I wouldn't have had the patience to ride it out without the little pep talks and suggestions from all the ladies here (would have had ice cream to console myself, in all likelihood), so thanks. For others sitting at a plateau, be patient, maybe tweak a few things, and ride it out - things will happen eventually.

Way to go!!!! Perhaps you'd like to bestow upon me some of that magic fairy dust that helped you get off the plateau? Oh, yeah, there's no such thing!!! Its all eat less, move more!! I gotta get that through my head!!!

Here's the weird thing.... I stepped on the scale this morning, and it said 141. I quadruple checked it, and it said 141 (or even 140) every time. Now that it moved, it's really moved! I realize I may bounce up a little, and I'm not going to change my ticker again until Friday, and I'll set it at whatever Friday's weight is. But talk about a moral victory!! I was really hoping to do a pound a week until the end of June ("5 in 5", as much as I usually avoid timelines), and I'm in good shape to meet that now. I didn't even change a lot - cut back portions a bit, exercised a bit more, but really and truly, I think it was a case of waiting it out, more than anything else. If this 141 is for real, that means I'm half way to my goal!
