New to featherweights!

  • Hi everyone!

    Since I have another pesky 10-20 pounds till goal (around 150 now, want to get to 140 in summer and eventually 130-135) I guess this sub-forum is the place for me to be too. (on top of 20 somethings & general support -- and overall lurking everywhere else )

    I've plateaued a bit recently so I've decided to up my exercise to about 6 times a week (most significantly, adding jogging to my routine, I just did 4.8 miles two days ago ). Averaged out for the week I'm at a manageable 1,700 calories/day so I really don't want to tweak with that for now - hopefully I can bust that dreaded "set-point" within the next few weeks ~ and train my jog enough for a 10K event coming at end of April.

    Looking to forward to talking s'more with all of you.

  • Hello! Have you tried zig-zagging your calories? Always good for plateau busting - as long as you average out at your 1700 you'll be fine. plus it means you get to eat cake once a week...
