well im wishing to be able to lose 20 pounds here. ive tried going on diets many times already but it never works. im hoping that with the help of other members with the same problem, i can overcome this goal. i want to be able to go out in public feeling confident. please help!

I went to a 39th birthday party last night. We were asked to give advice about getting to be 40. I spoke about taking vitamins and calcium and lifting weights ... what I didn't say cuz it sounds funny is that I'm waaaay better looking now than I was at 39. Slimmer, more fit ... it's much easier to pull your look together if you fit in clothing and then it's much easier to feel more confident.
I bet you're looking pretty nice already! My GOAL is just 4 measly lbs higher than your current weight and I'm just an inch taller! How about checking out weight lifting. Weights can do fantastic things for your body - tighten up the flabby bits, shrink waists, make you feel fantastic and strong and confident.

First I have to say, we pretty much have the same goal and you are two inches taller than me... so you already look thinner than me and I don't think my body is terrible I just need to slim down a bit and tone up. You are pretty no matter what your size. Get your confidence up by focusing on the things you love about yourself!! Then use the image in your mind of what you want to look and feel like for motivation. Of course we are all here for motivation as well. Believe me, these ladies are the greatest. You can do it!!! And remember, you are already BEAUTIFUL!!!!
