Red & Green Diet

  • Hey everyone, yes i'm on my first week of dieting!!
    anyone ever tried the slimming world diet where u have a Green Day food plan followed the next day with a Red Day food plan?

    was thinking of giving it a go!! But I dont know why the alternative days make a difference?? enlighten me someone pls!!?

    Green = pasta, rice, bread, eggs, fruit , veg

    Red = Lean meat, poultry, eggs, fruit, veg

    Any sample menus ?

    Hows everyone getting on? okay?!!


  • Hi - my Mum's doing slimming world. Over in the UK Forum there're some chicks doing it too. I'm not sure why you alternate, I've heard that you can choose whichever you want and even that some people have a red lunch and a green dinner

    However, I DO know that red days are the original days and green days were made up for veggies. IMHO I would stick to all red days because it works on the principle that you can eat as much high protein stuff as you like (which fills you up more) and you limit the carbs, which don't fill you up as much.
