Default New poster, but long time stalker!

Hey everyone! Happy Sunday

I've been registered on this site for awhile, but I decided I wanted to post today. I would like to get to know you ladies, who have had success with losing weight. I think it's great to have a forum for people who have 10-15 pounds to lose.

I was wondering what you think of my menu -- I am not following any particular plan, but this plan isn't working for me heh. I mean, I'm not losing weight!

Breakfast:
Veggy Patty or Oatmeal made w/ skim milk and frozen berries or Total Cereal with skim milk

Snack:
Coffee (instant with skim milk)

Lunch:
PB and banana Sandwich

Snack:
Apple and/or Granola bar (Nature Valley or Kashi)
Coffee (instant with skim milk)

Dinner:
Stir Fry veggies and beef
White rice

Snack:
OJ and/or piece of fruit

Hmm. I just tried using FitDay for the past week, and it's like I'm consuming about 1200-1300 calories a day.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks!

At first glance your menu seems ok, but a little short on protein... You have some at breakfast but only in the veggie pattie if you have that... Then your BP and banana sandwhich is good but there is more fat in PB than there is protein you should also have some veggies there, like cut up carrots and celery or a hearty vegetable soup... For supper you do have beef and that's good but you should try eating brown rice instead of white because there is more fiber and it will keep you fuller longer... Your snacks have no protein either... I stress the protein at almost every meal/snack because if you have protein you'll stay fuller longer, protein helps me to make it from one meal to the next.

But other than that it seems fine ...
