Smile I'm new.. =)

Hello Everyone,

I'm new to this community and I need some support. =) I started the Fat Smash Diet last Friday so I am now on day 5. I have seen some of the recipes and they look AWESOME. I have stuck to the diet but I think I cheated because I bought some Portebella burgers because fruits and vegtables DO NOT FILL ME UP. =( Like an idiot I didnt weigh myself before I started, so I'm not exactly sure how much I've lost so far, but I know I weighed about 185. =( I can't weight to lose the weight, my goal is 50 pounds. So its nice to meet everyone, I hope we can all lose the weight we want to.

Take care

Hi and We are glad to have you here!

If the portabella burgers didn't have any cheese in them.... then I think you did ok. Either way.. don't stress about it. Just focus on staying on plan from now on.

Good Luck to you.

Hi Doll Face! I think the burger is probably ok as I have been eating the Boca veggie burgers myself and I still lost on detox the first time around. I had the same problem getting full in the first few days as well. When I started making fruit smoothies for breakfast & eating grits (I am not an oatmeal lover) I started filling up more. Also you should try making a huge pot of veggie soup, I make this and serve it over some brown rice to get full and it was great! I tried the pizza recipe last night and it was good too. I just made mine a little different - I used tomato sauce/paste combo w/ lots of spices like basil & oregano plus some fresh garlic cloves, added tons of sauteed onions to it, pepperoncini peppers & artichokes along w/ the veggie shreds. It filled me up so much that I only ate 1/3 of it. My boyfriend even ate it. Best of luck to you and I am sure you will be a huge loser Lem

Default Thanks Everyone and its Nice to meet all of you!

Thank you for all the support. My husband was the one who made me start this diet because he heard about it on an XM radio show. BUT the show is only men, but they lost 60+ pounds in less then 2 months!!! But now that I have started and see the little changes already I am determined to stick to and lose as much as I can. It's embarrasing that my 8 month pregnant cousin weighs less then me.

Welcome Dollface!

I think you should be very happy on this diet!

The first phase is hard, but once you get the hang of it and see the pounds melting away...you will be happpy!

Just for some background, I have been eating somewhat healthy for the last couple of years...so i wasnt sure if this was going to work. Well let me tell you! I lost 12 pounds on the first two phases. (This is coming from someone who only lost 10 pounds in one year on various diets)

For me this is a huge huge loss...I am sure you will be happy with the results!

GOOD LUCK!

Welcome Dollface. One portabella burger isn't going to derail your entire detox (although I'm not sure what is all in it).

If I ate just fruits & veggies I would be hungry too. That's why you need to eat some brown rice, beans (kidney, black, navy, etc.), sweet potatoes and oatmeal. They will fill you up. I have not been hungry on FS since I started.

Hey Dollface- We have a lot in common. I live in the Inland Empire, we are the same height and our starting weight is almost the same, and I want to lose 50 pounds. I 'm just starting the diet today and hope that I do good with it. It would be great if I could lose, at least, 20lbs by Christmas. Last Christmas I was due to give birth at any time, this Christmas I don't want to look pregnant still.

Anyhow, good luck with your weight loss and hope to see you on here more.
