Here is mine -
Breakfast - fruit smoothie w/ 1 c frozen peaches (I usually have to cut these into smaller pieces but I like using the frozen ones because it makes the smoothie so cold), 1/2 c fresh strawberries, 1/2 c non fat unflavored yogurt, 1/2 c fresh squeezed orange juice, 1 pkg Splenda. I know we aren't supposed to have sweetener but it didn't hurt me the first go around on P1. Sometimes I will only add 2 or 3 tablespoons of juice and just eat it w/ a spoon like yogurt.

morning snack - 1 c of strawberries

Lunch - vegetarian veggie soup I made last night.

afternoon snack - seedless grapes and/or apple

dinner - soup and if bored w/ that or still hungry - steamed broccoli w/ lemon pepper seasoning sprinkled on

evening snack will be grapes or apples because they are so quick and easy!

Here is a sample of what I ate when on Phase I:

Breakfast - 1/2 c. oatmeal (meaning 1/2 c. dry oatmeal mixed with the amount of water stated for one serving) with either blueberries, strawberries or a banana sliced in & some skim milk.

Lunch - Big salad of mixed greens with 1/2 c. mandarin oranges and 2 T. Lite salad dressing.

Snack - 6 oz. yogurt & an apple or pear or some other fruit

Dinner - Brown rice with onions, green/red pepper & pineapple (or beans & brown rice).

After dinner snack: usually another yogurt and fruit or a smoothie (I made a couple pumpkin smoothies, too).

Other meals/snacks I ate:
Equivalent of 4 egg whites (the carton stuff - actually, I only used 1/2 cup which is supposedly 2 egg whites) scrambled, sometimes with onions, green peppers & mushrooms, sometimes plain. I'd usually have a fruit, too.

A vegetable/bean soup I found a recipe for on one of the FS groups.

Stuffed portobello mushroom (FS recipe).

A "cream of mushroom" soup recipe I found on one of the FS groups.

A FS spaghetti sauce with spaghetti squash.

I also made the Phase I cookies & had them as a snack but I didn't like them, although I made them with steel cut oats & would have tried them with oat bran the next time.

Another snack I concoted was brown rice with some skim milk, cinnamon & stevia microwaved & allowed to sit so the rice absorbed the milk - kind of like a rice pudding.

Warmed natural (no sugar added) applesauce with cinnamon/stevia.

Almost forgot - I couldn't have done Phase I without sweet potatoes. (Baked/micro'd or mashed w/pineapple - FS recipe).

For breakfast I had Southwestern Egg Beaters and a blueberry smoothie (frozen bbs, non fat plain yogurt, 6 oz soy milk plain)
snack: finished the smoothie from bfast
lunch: boca chili, ff sour cream, salad with mixed greens, bell peppers and chickpeas, orange
snack:frozen grapes (the best!!!!) and some cukes on the drive home (i am a school teacher so I get out earlier)
dinner: planning on portabella, carrots, brown rice and tofu, grilled, orange or apple
bedtime snack: WW 1 pt yogurt.....

yum yum this is take two for me, and I feel much better. I think I prepared better when I went grocery shopping and realized there is more out there than brown rice...

I've been bad, I haven't eaten much, I just haven't been hungry enough.

I've had a bowl of corn chex cereal, 2% milk..and a banana
tonight I plan on trying to make some meatless chilli.. with Tofu and brown rice. Not sure how it will turn out yet though.
Yesterday I made some super yummy sweet potato fries. I couldn't believe it but they taste so much better than white potato fries. (I cut mine shoestring thin to make them really crispy)

Wow, Lilo24, you're not eating much at all! Those aren't mini-meals, they're snacks. Not eating enough can actually stall weight loss. Maybe you're losing now but don't be surprised if you stop losing since your body could go into starvation mode & want to hold onto everything.

I truly believe that no one should go under 1200 calories as a daily average if they want to lose weight - at least not for a long time. I've learned that I actually lose more steadily if I eat more than even that amount. I've tried it & the less I ate, the more stalls I encountered - not to mention being hungry.

If you're exercising that's even worse if that's all you're eating. I think the worse part of it is that you might be throwing your metabolism off & when you do start trying to maintain you're going to have a difficult time.

Some people insist they can't lose unless they eat 1000 calories or less. Some of those same people went to nutritionists to get their metabolism reset so they could eat normally again without gaining. It takes a long time and when they start adding food they do gain at first.

I was thinking the same thing, Lilo. Be sure and eat enough. Your body will go into starvation mode, if you don't.
