Good Morning All,

I hope everyone has another great week! You are all doing so good. Keep it up!

Here is the last post from the last thread...

I didn't eat as often as I wanted (grocery shopping took FOREVER and we had to close the pool up) but I made good choices. I haven't weighed in, but I think I will stretch phase 1 a few days and weigh in next Sunday. On a good note, I went over a girlfriends house this evening and her mom was asking if I lost weight! I said I didn't really think so but she said my face looked thinner. I guess I'm doing something right!!!

mellybelly~ That is nice that your friend's mom noticed your weight loss. It is the little things that count.

Since I ate off plan once this week... I might not see the numbers I want on the scale. My weigh in day is Wednesday. We shall see.

Have a great day!

Well I did my 9 days of phase 1 and weighed in on Friday. I only fell off plan 1 time and it was in a small way. I exercised my butt off. I only lost 1/2 lb. That of course set me up for a crappy weekend of overeating so this morning I am going to try again with phase 1. 9 more days of detox. I hope it works better this time. DH lost 3.2 lbs without exercising. Well I hope everyone is doing good today. I'll check back later.

Hey Heather,

I know you are frustrated. But, look at it this way.. a loss is a loss. I hope you get the results you want this time. One thing that slowed my loss down in the beginning was that I wasn't eating every three to four hours. That is important. It keeps you in a fat burning mode. I had to schedule my meals. I still have to write down everything I eat and what time I ate it. It keeps me on track. I also have to remember to drink LOTS of water. It helps, too.

Hang in there.

Afternoon!
Finished Phase I today-8 lbs lost!!! I'm excited! Shooting for 10, but will take the 8 with no problem!! I was nervous to weigh in as the number always determines my attitude. BUT i already decided that i was on the right track, felt good, better mood, everything was going well so not to be disappointed.
My goal for Phase II is 8 lbs again, for a total of 16 for October.

Happy Face & Shea: ONEDERLAND will probably be in November, you'll hit it before me. But i'll get there! I've also focused my goal on where i want to be by the end of 2006-186lbs, not the 150lbs. That will come in June/July. And I'm okay with that.
Adding extra food will be slow for phase II. I'll do it to shake things up, but not go overboard. Phase I was comfortable for me, so i'll just tweek it a bit.

Question: I tried to edit my signature, but it always comes up invalid. Any suggestions?

Have a great day ladies!

Still hanging on, This is my 4th day and I feel good. I think drinking the green tea instead of coffee has helped me detox. I ate 4 egg white with onions, bellpepper, tomatoes and a spill of milk whip it cooked it up also ate a cup of oatmeal with pumpkin spice and of course my green tea. So until my snack I feel satisfied. Have a great day.

Well I am back on the FatSmash. Day 1 for me again. I went back to WW two and 1/2 weeks ago and am already back to my bad eating habits. Luckily I only gained 2.5 back of the 8 I lost. I have noticed since going back to old ways that I am not sleeping as well, my face is breaking out like crazy, I am irritable, etc. The reason I stopped was the expense, but I will just have to find cheaper ways to eat because I need to stay on this.. need to get this 25lbs off....

Hi everyone - first time poster - I started this diet rather tentatively yesterday. I have a conference next weekend where I'll have no control over what we eat, but I thought it was better to get started and get a feel for Phase 1, even if I'm going to have an off couple of days (I will do the best I can, of course ). I had oatmeal this morning, which was ok, but the scrambled egg whites and veggies yesterday left much to be desired (I think I went heavy on the veggies!). Any tips on how to make that more palatable?

Many thanks to whomever recommended pressing and cooking the tofu first on another thread - I tried that last night with a stirfry and it was delicious! I've got no beef (heh) with tofu, and have enjoyed it many times, but I've never cooked with it before.

Guess my point in all that was to say hi, I'm here, and I'm going to need all the help I can get!

I'm back on Day 1 today, too. I have been trying to eat right and on plan but it has been hard. I think It's cause I didn't have much variety in my meals and so I got bored and cheated. I went shopping and bought stuff I normally wouldn't buy i.e, sweet potatoes, spaghetti squash, etc. I am so looiking forward to trying these new things and sticking to my plan.

And I really need to work on my excercise. Grrr....that's a tough one!

FYI--kashi has these frozen meals and one of them is a brown rice w/black beans and mango sauce. These are perfect for P1!!!! I saw them at Kroger and plan to buy a couple just for those days I don't want to cook. They are a bit pricey, though-3.99/ea.

Default Scaleaholic

Happy Thanksgiving to Wide in Winnepeg. I'd have trouble leaving the stuffing and desserts alone.

I know I haven't lost a terribly lot of weight since I've started but I was able to get into a pair of jeans that haven't fit in a very long time. It made me feel very good.

How often does folks weigh?? I'm a scaleaholic and can't seem to not weigh every day. If I'm down I'm elated, if I'm up then I really tighten up and look to see what I might have done. Just curious.

I've started on a new medication. I sure hope it doesn't slow or stop my loss.

Wish me luck.:
