Talking newbie with a question

hello everyone, im so excited that i found this site it couldnt have come at a better time. i have been following phase 1 for 6 days and i weighed myself today and only lost 1 pound. its discouraging because i have followed with out any cheats at all. i have been having some serious issues with my belly bad (i mean burn your nostrils) gas and cannot go to the bathroom its been 5 days im sorry to be so nasty but i look like im 5 months prego and annoyed isnt veggies supposed to clean you out??? either way im sure this is 1 of the main reasons why im not losing weight - has any one eles had this problem? i hope this isnt tmi also i wonder if im eating enough today i had
b - 1 cup oatmeal cooked with skim milk and 1 banana
s- artichoke hearts with lemon
l- 1 cup brown rice with plate of steamed green beans & beets
s- watermelon with 1/2 cup of f.free vanilla yogurt
d- 1 cup brown rice with tofu & tomato sauce w/ peas
s- 1 cup of hot peppermint tea with a pomegrante

are you supposed to eat every thing on the list in 1 day?
anyways some advice would be great!!!!

Hi and welcome! That is the limit you are to eat in one day, you don't have to eat all that is on the list, I don't. Also how much water are you drinking? I find it helps to drink as much as possible!
I have'nt had any bowel problems myself so maybe someone else who has can help you with that!

I am sorry, I am actually okay with the bathroom thing...I find myself to be very regular.

Do you like beans? That may help! For one of my mid meals I usually have a black bean and veggie salad with a touch of olive oil. I think you are allowed 1 cup of beans...That always helps!!!

Hi~

DRINK LOTS OF WATER! That has been the key for me. If I don't drink water...I get bloated and stopped up. ( sorry TMI!)

Also, like the previous poster stated.. beans do help. But beans are not limited to one cup. Beans are unlimited.

Water!!!

And if you don't have all that much to lose, it will come off slower. Remember to eat actual portion sizes (except with fruits and veggies, eat as much as you want of them).

thanks guys for the input, i am happy to say that my problem has been solved after some good old milk of magnesium. i weighed myself this morning and have lost a total of 5 pounds . that combined with getting some fresh recipes on this site has kicked me into high gear, i was eating so bland (im a cookbook kind if gal so i have a hard time being inventive on my own)either way i feel inspired by you all. thanks again
