Question newbie ww to smash

I have had great success with ww but have put on about 10lbs. Starting smash today. have a few questions. Do I have to eat everything on the list in phase1? 2 cups of brown rice, 2 milks etc. I think this program will shake things up for me. Thanks to all!!!::

WELCOME cbruce40!

As far as the food lists go... the amounts listed are LIMITS. You can't go over the limits. I try to eat a balanced diet of the foods listed. I make sure I am getting something from each food group...fruit, veggie, whole grain, protein, and dairy. Remember to eat every 3 to 4 hours. And drink plenty of water.

Good Luck!!

Sherry

I am on day 6, feels like yesterday I posted as a newbie, but I too am a weight watcher and I am actually still weighing on and going to the meetings since I wanted that to fall back on. Phase one is tough, I have never been so bored in my life. I have oatmeal for breakfast every day with a glass of warm milk (fills you up), lunch is a salad with my new adventure tofu, or I have chicken broth with rice and veggies. Then I do the same for dinner. It gets boring but telling yourself it is only 9 days makes it help. I had the first 3 days were tough as your body does the detox thing but then I am fine. It really is a great start to getting back on track with WW or continuing with FSD. Good Luck

newstart~ I can imagine you are bored. If you don't vary your diet then you will be more tempted to fall off and cheat. Also, your body will get set to what you are eating and the weight might not fall off, no matter how small a calorie content.

Eat some fresh fruit with your oatmeal or have a homemade smoothie for breakfast. Fix a bean salad or something different for lunches or dinners.

Freeze some grapes. They are a great snack. Bake a banana or an apple.

Good luck. You should do well if you can eat like you have been doing.
