I am following regular Fat Smash. I started Day One Phase One today.

My history - I've done Fat Smash before, back in January/February of this year. I lost 12 lbs on Phase One, even though I had a wicked bad run-in with some Oreo Cakesters. It was amazing, I think it was Day Five? I gave in and had the Oreo Cakesters and got this massive sugar rush, then felt overwhelmingly sick and actually got sick from it. It was insanity, but made me learn my lesson. It was really hard to avoid temptation, especially since I am a single mom cooking for two small kids and obviously still had to make normal meals. By the time I got over the Cakester deal and moved on to Day 6 and 7, I was determined to stick it out and was glad I did.

That was back in February, I went from 182 to 169.5 and I know it was a lot of fat loss because once I started eating my regular crappy way, it didn't come back. I just started to gain again... back up to 171.5 and not happy about it. I fluctuate from 170 all the way up to 176 if I am having a super bad salty day.

I'm tired of living this way. Seriously. I've tried a lot of different things, and this is the one diet that, even though it is hard sometimes especially for a meat and cheese addict, I saw significant changes, felt so much better and lost fat instead of just water weight. If I had added in exercise back then, perhaps I could have lost more.

So, good luck to you. I'm with ya, hun. Although I may not be the most efficient buddy - like I mentioned I am a single mom, work full time and attend college for nursing so I am a busy beaver. I try, though. I need to be more accountable and steadfast on my weight loss journey. I went from 220 to 150 in 10 months back in 2004/2005 and I know I can do it. I'm trying to find that hidden motivation. I'm hoping this time will be it for me.

This is my second time doing Fat Smash. The first time I did really well, but never went to level 2. Now I am getting back on track and just started level 1 yesterday. I will let you know how I do after the 9 days!
