Default I Am New To This FSD Thing

hello everyone i am new to the whole dieting thing. i have never been on a diet in my life or really exercised but i figured i needed a change so i bought the fat smash diet book. i have heard about this diet a lot and the reason i choose it was because it looked like something that i could handle. the one thing i am having trouble with is can you have artificial sweeteners. also in P1 can you have like veggie burgers. i even got my husband to join in with me isn't that great. if anyone has any suggestion let me know

Hey crobertson! Congrats on starting fat smash. As far as sweetner the book says 1 tsp sugar substitute and yes you can have veggie burgers. That is wonderful that you got you husband to join you on the journey, the more the merrier and more likely you will both stick with it if you are doing it together. I am in my third week of fat smashing, so I am in phase two now and I love it! As of Sunday I had lost approx 9 lbs. Good luck to you!

Hi Crobertson. I am also new to fat smash. Today is day 1 for me. I'm so scared I won't lose weight though!! Anyways there is a phase 1 FAQ and in it it says you can have splenda. I am drinking lipton ice tea with splenda and may try it in oatmeal.

I here you about figuring out what to eat. Here are soem of the things I have had:

cantoloupe
sweet potatoes roasted with prunes but I didn't eat the prunes
chocolate mint soy milk ( this is what keeps me going)
tofu-yogurt I don't knwo the exact name but it is with fruit on the bottom..very yummy and filling.
popcorn
meatless patties.
I hope that helps I didn't put int he obvious fruits and veggies.

Hello . I have been on the Extreme Fat Smash for about 1 month and 1 wk and lost 18 pounds. I am on cycle 3 second rotation. next wk i will start all over again. What do you ladies think. Any suggestions. And keep up the good work. God Bless. What I do to help that feeling you get is snack on an orange the natural sugar is uplifting kinda like one of those energy drinks or you can snack unlimited on carrots and celery i believe. now no need to get that stuffed feeling because if you stretch out the four meals like 3 hours apart and incorporate the 2 snacks as well. My meals are normally at 9am, 12pm, 3pm, then 6pm. I rarely snack but if hungry or feeling lightheaded then will. you should be ok and make sure to drink plenty of water and that you are taking a multi vitamin. That helped me.

Hi everybody!!
Crobertson you are so lucky that your hubby is doing it with you. My fiance' is not, he has no weight to lose, but he is still VERY supportive of me doing it, and gives me all the motivation that I need. (not like our wedding isn't motivating enough-haha)

2beautiful: I eat the sweetener in my oatmeal every morning, and really like it. I like whoever's idea it was to eat the orange-that really helps me. But you know, there are also things you can do to spice up your meals, like making the sweet potato fries or the oatmeal cookies-both of those things are TOTALLY on plan and make you feel like you're cheating because they taste so, so good.

Good luck to everyone-glad to have more people coming to the FS threads now-that's awesome!
