Default Day 4 phase 1

I was up late last night cooking rice, beans, and veggies. I feel prepared and optimistic! I was late to work, but my health is worth it!

Yep Fitchick its worth it. I prepare most of my meals at night also, Its less time consuming rather than doing it in the morning. You can do it.... only 5 more days to go...yippee....

I always prep on the weekend. I cut veggies for stir fries and other meals and I bought a huge rice cooker that works great on brown rice. Then I cook at night and put together my lunches for work at night too. Good luck on your next five days!

I love my rice cooker. Like the other ladies, I have to prep all of my meals in the evenings. If I don't make my lunch the night before, it is entirely way to tempting to go and grab a tuna sandwich down the road!

I have a 3 cup rice cooker and since it's just me, it's perfect. I cook one pot and have enough rice for two days. I usually make the leftover rice into "fried" rice the next day. Totally yummy!

Thanks for the advice! My friend just recently purchased a rice cooker for me - can't wait to pick it up this evening! no more of my weird gummy rice!
