Default Sweet Potato Fries

So, I'm really excited to try the recipes listed in the recipe section for sweet potato fries. I've never actually had a sweet potato before, so this will be quite an adventure! Silly question, tho - do I really have to peel them before slicing and baking? Or can I just scrub the skin clean? Thanks!

Sweet Potato Fries are SO yummy!!!! I can't stand them out of the can but when I buy them fresh and make them I'm in heaven. I personally like to peal mine. I notice when I eat a baked sweet potato the skin seems a little tough.

I love sweet potato fries, I would definitely peel them. Hope you use the recipes in the recipe section here in 3fc cuz they are delicious I eat one sweet potato a day and thats exactly how i make it but I only use 1/2 to 3/4's of a Tbs of Olive Oil. But when I first started eating them I made them with a full Tbs. I love them with the plain yogurt lime dip its yummy!

Enjoy!

I did make them last night and they were good! Next time, tho, I am going to slice them thinner. They were a bit too big and while the outside got a lil crisp, the inside was still a bit too mushy for my taste! But that's easily fixed by slicing them more into matchsticks than wedges! I am definitely going to try that yogurt and lime dip for them! Yum!

sometimes I like to to add garlic powder to the lime dip...also in the recipe section I posted a home fries recipe with sweet potato its really tasty and a nice variation to the fries.

Take care!
