just curious to know if i should at some point start changing up my "menu"...im in phase 2 right now...started the second week today....and honestly im pretty content with the way i have been eating...i havent really added any of the meats...had a small 4z piece of sirloin last monday when i started this phase just to get my craving out of the way...and like a 2oz piece of chicken later that week...ive also had corn flakes 3 times last week...aside from that...i have pretty much stuck to my simple menu below:
breakfast (1st meal)
1/2 cup of oatmeal w/ cinnamon
or
1 cup of corn flakes w/ 1/2 cup of nonfat milk
2nd meal
~ 1/2 cup of brown rice
~ 1/2 cup of black beans
~ 1/2 cup of fresh and steamed veggies
or
4 hardboiled egg whites
3rd meal
4 hardboiled egg whites (if i didnt have them before)
or
~ 1/2 cup of brown rice
~ 1/2 cup of black beans
~ 1/2 cup of fresh and steamed veggies
4th meal
4 egg whites scrambled w/ 1 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil (if i did not have egg whites earlier in the day)
~ 1/2 cup of brown rice
or
~ 1/2 cup of black beans
~ 1/2 cup of fresh and steamed veggies
5th meal (after i work out)
banana smoothie/shake (1 cup of nonfat milk, about 2-3 spoons of nonfat nonflavored yogurt, 1 banana)
in between i will usually munch on fruits if im hungry....fruits can range from grapes, strawberries, cherries, peaches, or pears
im worried that my body is gonna get "used" to this menu and it wont allow the weight loss to come off at some point...i havent seen these effects right now but im really worried that its going to start soon...i sometimes even consider "cheating" for a meal just to shock my system but im not sure if that will work or not...any suggestions would be greatly appreciated...
