What kind of lettuce are you supposed to eat when you eat a salad? Does it have to be the dark lettuce, or can it be the head of iceburg lettuce. I don't really like the dark green lettuce.
Thanks

Generally speaking, the more colorful the veggie, the more vitamins it contains. Iceberg lettuce is pretty much just a vehicle for water. Buttercrunch, green leaf, red leaf, and Romaine are better for you.
BUT, if the choice is between eating iceberg lettuce and not eating lettuce at all, by all means eat the iceberg lettuce. It can't do you any harm (assuming it's not chock full of pesticides, that is).
