Help - Just started FS today

Hi all

I just started FS today. I am a Weight Watchers member and I was only 3 pounds from goal weight. But, I've recently gained back 6 pounds. I've read several posts on this site about the Fat Smash way of life. I thought it would be a good enhancement to my Weight Watchers lifestyle. I'm hoping it will help me drop these last 15 pounds in a healthy way.

I'm curious as to what people are eating on FS. I brought lots of fruit to work with me today, but I also have egg whites, mixed veggies, fat free strawberry yogurt and tofu. I've never eaten tofu and I'm wondering how to cook it. Can I just cut (I bought firm) it and put it in the microwave? How does it taste?

Also, I feel like I'm just grazing today. Is that ok? I've kept my fruits right here by my desk and I've just been picking at the grapes and cherries throughout the morning. Should I actually measure how much I'm eating?

Also, are protein shakes like Weight Watchers smoothies or Slim Fast ok on Phase 1?

Thanks for any help you can give me. I'm not planning on buying the book because I've heard it's very confusing. So, hopefully this site will be very informative and helpful.

Oh one more thing. I try to workout at least 30-45 min. per day Monday -Friday. Should I plan on being sluggish on this first phase of FS? I really don't want to give up my workouts. I've been trying the Jari Love Ripped 1000 which is a cardio/weights workout. I'm hoping I will be able to keep my muscles alive during phase 1.

Thanks
Pam

I'm on the extreme fat smash, so tofu isn't really on my diet. I've never tried microwaving tofu, but in the past I have cut it in cubes and cooked it a stir-fry with veggies (and a little olive oil). Just an idea! Good luck!

The protein shakes aren't listed as allowed, so I wouldn't know, but I don't beleive they are. the prefered types of protein are along the lines of vegan protein (soy, beans, and such).
