Thumbs up The Original Fat Smash Weekly Support 6/10-6/16

Sorry guys that I didn't get a chance to post last week's support thread. A Lot of things was going on for me but I am trying to refocus. I will begin another round of Detox just to jump start my weight loss starting tomorrow, Monday. On my way to the grocery store to get my veggies and fruit. Have a SMASHING day.

Hi!

I was actually reading your original posts from May, and really enjoying (and agreeing with) the comments you and the others had posted there! I'm glad I found this thread!

I started P1 last Monday, and, after reading Dr. Ian's FAQ's just a little while ago, realized that I have been "cheating", although it's been unintentional. What's your advice? Start all over again? Extend Phase 1? How did you do with the Detox phase last month?

I look forward to lots of support (and doing alot of supporting) here!

Emily

Emily don't think of it as cheating. I find for me that just makes me feel more discouraged. When I do eat off plan I just try to stick to it by next meal. I will admit I am having a more difficult time this go around than the last but I try to stay positive and really exercise. I didn't my first round of detox. I am also added an additional day or two because I did have a lapse yesterday...I was so darn hungry I had to have some meat!!! Today not doing so good either. Had a couple pieces of candy But I don't try to get down about it. I accept it and move on and know that later today I will have to workout more to make up for it.

Hello I'm V, I have been doing the extreme fat smash for 5 days now and I have lost 5.5 pounds already. I wanted to join a forum on the extreme fat smash but it seems like everyone is doing the original. In any case, I could use the support and motivation that all of you have for one another!! Keep up the good work ladies!!

Well how is everyone doing? I won't lie this week has been hard for me dietwise. I tried to do phase 1 and instead I did Phase 2. Feel very tired today and trying to push myself to go to the gym. It seems that even with my efforts to lose weight I look and feel heavier than before I started dieting. I am waiting for the natural endorphins to kick in and make me feel positive about the sitation instead of dreading it. I REALLY want to give up. I am tired of not eating what I want and exercising and still seeing nor results. I just keep pushing on because if I were to eat what I wanted and not exercise I would put on way more weight.

Nelle, i'm not a part of this nor am i on the fat smash yet but have been lurking around and debating on trying it out as it looks hard-- i previously lost over 50 pds on Nutisystem but gained it back this last year (that's another story ) )
but didn't want you to feel discouraged-- have you taken your measurements-- i found taking my measurements and putting them on excel and watching the inches go away when the scale would not budge to be a great motivator- please don't give up-- you can succeed- if you fall off the wagon- hop back on and keep on moving on- don't let a wrong choice keep you from reaching your goal-- you can do it!!

hugs, Christy

I'm your resident lurker -- former WW Core member who is so close to goal but not quite there! I have been looking for a way to shake things up. I have the book (regular FatSmash) but am looking at the Extreme Fat Smash in order to get a handle on cravings and such.

I just thought I'd jump in and introduce myself, even thought I don't really have anything to add at this point.

Default Stay Strong!!!

Nelle, girl you and I are in the same boat. When I feel my body, I can feel the change as far as weight loss. But now, whenever I look in a mirror I think I look even heavier than before. bIt is really hard for me to be around people eating whatever they want. I really miss food. I am so glad that I am not the only one. I mean I do like the food that I am eating, but I just can't get the bad things that I loved so much out of my mind like burgers and fries. I went into the grocery store and freaked out last night. I wasn't able to cook my meal ahead of time to I had to go to the store and pick something up. I felt like Cletus. I was afraid of getting anything for fear of gaining back weight, but I still in the back of my mind WANTED EVERYTHING!!! I ended up leaving with a 100 cal Pria bar and some sugar free gum. It was easier the first few days because I was new to the diet and excited. Now that it is feeling like more of a lifestyle than a temporary change I am starting to freak. I have peptalks with myslf over and over and I always have to remind myself of my ultimate goal. Be strong girl... for yourself and for us. Your strength inspires us as much as everyone's strength inspires you. Think about all those success stories and how they make you feel. Can you even imagine the kinds of cravings that they must have had? When I think of that, I am able to put things into perspective. I am able to tell myself that to get where I want to be I have to struggle and sacrifice. Good luck
