Phase 1 Day 2!

  • Hi everyone!
    I just started fat smash yesturday and I feel really good. I had to try it after seeing everyone's amazing results! I am hoping to lose 30 or 40 pounds so we'll see.
    I have yoyo dieted my whole life peaking at 200 pounds then losing 40 of it then another 30. Going to college put on 40 pounds and I feel so gross about myself. I have been eating terrible and drinking and I used to be an exercise-aholic, but that ended too.
    So now I am following fat smashers ad exercising everyday! I really hope it works!

    Question: This is a little personal, but did anyone have that time of the month when starting and did it mess up their results? I'm having that problem and I hope being bloated doesn't mess things up. I don't really see how it should when I am exercising still and following the diet exactly.
  • I just started yesterday, too, Jessica! I feel great. I love all the exercising. It kicks me in the bum to get moving like I should-and I'm learning that I do *not* need a whole can of beans, nor a whole block of tofu in one sitting, LOL!!!!

    I cannot wait to see how much weight I've lost at the end of phase one. My dad is coming to visit this weekend-so maybe I'll kind of put it on hold and extend it a few extra days, maybe another week or so.

    Oh, and I'm supposed to get my t.o.m on Saturday-we'll see how it goes. It's ok though, the weight loss will show as soon as I drop more water-because believe me, as much water and fruit as I'm drinking and eating, I should be releasing more water-so my body is holding onto it. We'll have to keep up on this thread to see how it affects us both.
  • Definitely! Good luck! I'm soooo excited to weigh myself next week. haha!

    I'm thinking the loss might be a little more than expected since we will be dropping the water weight afterwards too! (crossing fingers)
  • Ok, so dieting and your period? Not such a good idea. Yesterday, I went bananas and ate some ice cream, binged on a bunch of tomatoes, and then when my boyfriend came over-he made rice and beans. I ate some of the beans with my brown rice and veggie burger, but I tried some of the white rice and you know what? Oh my gosh, delish. So I kept eating it, LOL!!!!

    Talk about out of control, LOL! Anyways, I signed up at celebrityfitclub, and as soon as my dad has left (he's visiting from Florida today through Monday), I'll get back on track entirely on Tuesday. Let me know how it goes, Jessica!
  • Oh you didn't do too bad, Drea! I managed to get through it without straying from the diet. It was hard though! haha TOM is such a beastie! I weigh in on Thursday so I am really anxious to see if I lost anything. Even 2 or 3 pounds would make me happy!
