Hey guys, after jumping ship, and all this, I'm SO ready to hop back on. It's nice to see new faces on here. I will be starting the Fat Smash on either Sunday or Monday. Back to Detox I go. I need it. Goodness knows I've been really bad! LOL I will probably jump to Extreme after Detox and switch between the two. I have 5 months, before I go down to see my mom in San Diego, so that is my main goal! Well I will be on here more as soon as I start. I'm actually looking forward to the fruits, veggies, brown rice. LOL

Hello everyone!!! I just started the Extreme Fat Smash Diet yesterday. I like how Dr. Ian lays out your food plans and what exercises you should do. I work 2 jobs and go to school part-time. So, I don't have time to plan my meals. When it comes to food, I rather someone tell me what to eat. Otherwise I will choose what is fast and easy.

I'm on day 3 of Extreme Fat Smash. I've done minor changes to keep it vegetarian (and eggless), and so far I lost a few pounds. I'm happy. :) |

The extra detox that I am talking about is from First for Women on the Go Magazine dated April 16, 2007. I get it from the Giant Grocery store. Probably at other groceries as well as Wal-mart. It is called the "Ultra Detox"the Fat Flush Program. Hot Lemon Water with Breakfast: Juice half a lemon into 8 oz. hot water. Sip Cran-Water Throughout the Day: 8 oz. unsweetened cranberry juice to 56 oz. water. Drink throughout the day. Start and End Your Day with a Fat-Flushing Cocktail: Upon rising and again right before bed, mix 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed (I can only find "Organic" ground flaxseed meal) into 8 oz. cran-water and drink. I started doing this on Sunday. This morning I was down 4 pounds. It has to be the drinks along with the detoxing of the fat smash diet. Today I did break the detox though. We had spaghetti, but I made sure I ate exactly what I was supposed to for Breakfast and lunch. I will do the same, except tomorrow is a staff meeting and they are having one of my favorite foods, crab cakes. I will detox in the morning, have the lunch and then do the detox meal in the evening. I did 90 minutes of exercise today so I am pretty happy about that. Friday starts my detoxing until Tuesday. Hopefully no unforseen eating. The best part is I am exercising again on a regular basis. I haven't gotten the new book yet but is there meat now in the detox? That's what I had a problem with last time not enough protein. I have alot of weight to loose though so should I be doing the original instead?

Thanks! How long is the recommended detox? Is it like a colon cleanse? I consume about 60g fiber per day currently and have considered a colon cleanse but am not sure what to do, but this detox sounds good....

Lucky for me (some may not think so) I have to be in work for 5:30am and that's when I have my breakfast. I don't always have the snacks. I'm not sure if they are required or just there if you need them but if I need one I eat 1/2 of a Luna bar (they're my favorite). Here's a sample of my eating schedule: 5:30 - 6am Meal 1 10am Snack 12pm meal 2 2pm snack (this is the one I sometime skip because I'm not hungry) 3:30 - 4pm Meal 3 7:30pm Meal 4 I hope this helps you out. You have to find a schedule that fits you. |

It is a cleansing. It is for people with different symptoms and they list three of the symptoms in the magazine. If you want to know more about the Fat Flush Diet go to FatFlush.com (I think) There was someone that came on this thread and said that it was a good plan, but this is the best detox that I have ever done. It is true that you do lose a pound a day. I have never been on the scale and it has moved everyday. I have been on the program for 5 days and I am down 5 pounds! So something is working correctly. CAN'T WAIT TO GET HOME TO EXERCISE! |

December9- Thanks for posting what is needed for the Fat Flush, I will look into it more, and see how I can combine it with The first Fat Smash. All I know is that I will be running to the bathroom alot! LOL Speaking of Extreme, I gotta finish reading it, so far it sounds good, and less "depriving" than the 1st Fat Smash. Hi, I'm new also. We've done the Fat Smash Detox before as an easy way to lose extra unwanted weight. My husband and I were doing really well keeping it off....then we got TRANSFERRED....so for 4 months we were either looking for homes in multiple areas OR moving, which as you know can pack back on the pounds.
