I started the fat smash diet six days ago, and so far I love it. I am also new to this site and I think it is awesome because I don't feel like I am alone during this whole "diet" thing. I can't wait to see what my results are on day ten, hopefully I will be successful!
I can say that this is the first diet I have ever followed so far. I've said in the past that I was going to start one then in about two days, I was over it.
I guess it helps that my boyfriend is participating with me. It's much easier when the other people in the house have to eat the same thing. We are on Day 7 today. Cmon' Phase II, 3 ounces of chicken never sounded so yummy! Keep it up cause Day 6, Yesterday I almost folded. Day 7 is here and I didn't cheat, it feels good.
Congrats! I look forward to being in your place soon. I'm starting the day after SuperBowl as the book should be here on the Saturday before, I want to have some clear cut recipes and everything on hand to get us through that first 9 days. The lack of coffee, may very well kill me O.o My fiancee will be doing the 9 day detox with me, we'll just plan our meals around Phase I and add some meat for the kids, hopefully, neither of us strangles the other. Good Job on making it to day 6!
Great idea to have everything in place before you start. I too was a BIG coffee drinker - in the afternoon I replaced the addicitin with diet soda or Vault (extra boost of caffeine). Keep in mind you may have headaches for a couple of days until you get through the withdrawal. It dosn't last long though - I don't even miss it now! I drink herbal tea now.

LOL, I'm trying to get my fiance to do this w/ me. But I guess he really has to want to do it. But oh well, once he sees how well I'm smashing, I'm sure he will jump in. I will be starting next week,and have been prepping. I've been cutting out my caffeine, and have been working out 6 days a week. Mostly cardio. Can't wait to do this!!
I started the diet on 01/22 at 158 and so far have lost 5 lbs. That is pretty good i think for a first time weight loser.. Will start phase on Wed and will keep you posted.
I am on my 5th day and feel really good (the first 2 days were **** due to caffeine withdrawel). I started the diet at 157...I know I wasn't supposed to get on the scale...but I did and I have already lost 5lbs. I have done some light exercising because my schedule has been hetic but will pick up the pace now. I only want to get down to 140 i think it will be a breeze on this diet. Good luck all....

LOL. Congrats on making it to Phase 2!!! The turkey burger with salsa sounds awesome! I've gotten a bunch of recipes I'll be adding tonight to our recipe forum, but the turkey burger, just sounds smashtastic!
