Phase One: Banana Bread Smoothie

  • I was experimenting this morning and came up with this smoothie ~yum!

    Banana Bread Smoothie

    1 Cup Skim Milk
    1 Teaspoon Nutmeg
    1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
    1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
    1 Packet Splenda
    1 Cup Ice
    1 Small Banana

    I mixed the milk and spices first, blended in the ice, then the banana at the end.

    You can play with the spice amounts to suit your taste. I chose not to add the fat free yogurt to this smoothie because it seems to add a sharper taste to my smoothies.
