    HI GALS ~

Just hanging out here this morning drinking ~ Our family went to a 50th Wedding Anniversary yesterday, for our next door neighbors, where I grew up. Way cool to see a lot of the folks. We actually keep real close contact with one of their daughters, "aunt Cathy" to our kids. About 100 people, tons of mexican food and drink. Aunt Cathy works part time as a dealer for "casino night" fundrasiers, she had 6 casino tables going with dealer friends of hers for our enjoyment ~ kids and Angie had a blast playing 21.

Well, Reba and Rylee DID pass intermediate school this week ~ I think it's fixed though, just a way to "sucker" us back

Having about 25 over today for a BBQ ~ carna asada, pollo asada, rice, beans, salsa and fruit. Weather looks good for now, the sun is out and not too warm.

Angie has bells later this morning at church, I may skip it to clean a little around here and see the start of the INDY 500 ~ God will understand, He knows me

WILMA~ I hope you were able to get your flowers planted and had a nice day with your mom.

AUNT SUE~ I hope the burial went well, I know it has been tough for you the last couple of months. Also, forgot to mention congratulations on your neice being validictorian. Happy "camper" cleaning!

MARILYN~ Quite a U-Haul story. Glad to see things are finally settleing in for you. Sorry about your son, but as we know sometimes all we can do is pray and allow God to ease the pain. Sounds like you are surrounded by "blessings"! at the new place.

Well off to do some chores...........
  • Hi everyone Just popping my head in to wish y'all a happy Memorial Day! I know I've been kind of MIA the last week or so, but I'm still alive and well, just busy writing My final dissertation defense is probably going to be on June 26 - four short weeks away! Ack!

Gotta go already, but hugs and prayers all around! Have a fabulous holiday!
  • I can't believe it's thursday already. One more day of work and I go on a week's holidays. I really need a break from work and taking a trip for a few days with my hubby will be just what I need.

I made it out for a walk one evening this week and felt really great. I will do it more. Tonight I spent the evening with my son showing him what to do in the yard as far as watering my flowers, etc.

Not much else happening around here so I'm going to say goodnite for now.
  • Hi ya!
I popped in to see what everyone's up to ? You must be busy as no one is around here, ditto, I am off to camp for the weekend, the kids prom is tonight and that is always fun, they are all coming back to a bon-fire after. Well gotta run, see ya, have a great weekend. Sue
  • HI EVERYONE!

Just wanted to pop in and say HI to all of you! The kids have been home since the 19th of May and we've been running ever since. We celebrated Mike's 20th birthday and celebrated AJ's 9th birthday, been swimming, going on field trips, going to grandma and grandpa's, fishing, boating, etc. They make me tired!

I skim all your posts and I hope you are all doing well!

I'll write more at the end of August!
  • Good Morning!
Just dropping in for a minute to let you know that I'm on my way to Calgary today and probably won't be able to post. We should be home on Thursday. I'm really looking forward to getting away and relaxing and not thinking about work.

Talk to you when we get back!
  • STOP !! DON'T POST HERE ~

  • Just me - Joan Fay
Well, here is a new thread for me. I like what I read. Very very encouraging.
I have been dealing with same 30 plus pounds forever. Off partially and then on. So, if I can be encouraging to everyone and learn from all of you that would be great. I'm just learning my way around here. The formats are all so different. Many many choices.

When I joined a few years ago the site was very simple. So, excuse me if I make some mistakes.
    Blessings and Hugs to all
