Hi, guys! I'm very tired this evening, so I'll keep it short. I've been having health problems lately and I would appreciate your prayers. I had thyroid cancer (very tiny) 2 years ago and had most of my thyroid removed. Well, now the small part that was left is enlarged and my dr. thinks there may be cancer again. I have to go in for a scan next week and I will find out the results the following week. I have been doing ok, but tonight I feel sad and scared. I know that keeping a positive attitude is a big part of the battle, but I am having a hard time doing that tonight. Please pray for me and my family.

Jenni- I am up lifting you to the Lord, prayers for health and comfort during the waiting phase, sometimes I think that is the worst part the waiting to have a test, and then the waiting to hear how it came out. I pray forgood results and that the Lord will give you peace and comfort during the wait.
Sunny- so happy to hear your dh/dd are feeling better- continued prayers for mom, and joe's bp- I am leaving for camping tom. rain or shine. I am sick of rain, it has pretty much rained everyday for more than a week, sounds like EZ needs to get busy sending us some sun, so we can enjoy memorail day weekend.

I am doing great. My sister got notified about the adoption we should be traveling to China in 5-8 weeks, the baby's Chinese name stands for intelligent star, she is 10 months old, as soon as I get apic I will share. I haven'e seen her yet, my sister is suppose to e-mail me it. Well gotta run going to buy steak that is on sale at price chopper, having steak friday night to celebrate bil birthday, his favorite meal. Happy birthday Jackay! I am home today, for awhile, a lot to do. Guys are coming to put up a new awning.. shade for the graduation party. We tore down the patio about a year ago, termites and age, just never figured out what we wanted. This should be good for us, it is fairly large and retractable...even has a motor so Ryan won't have to go outside to roll it up...just push the button at the sliding glass door ...Now! I'm not saying I don't trust my son to watch the house while we are in Washington, I mean he is smart enough right?...Magna Cum Laude...it's just, well, when it comes to "household" things...well...ah..let's just say if it doesn't involve some type of ball or other sporting equipment...well, he is "CLUELESS!" Sometimes I wonder if he doesn't bring someone in to feed and care for the dogs when we leave for a week at a time..

SUNNY So glad Joe finally put the reins on you I know exactly what you~Joe~we all mean about the computer habit! Sometimes I have to mention to Angie that she needs to "sit" in the living room while I watch television instead of sitting in her office at her computer . Sometimes I wonder how skinny I would be if I gave up computer time for exercise...sometimes, I think that...but then I come to my senses

As far as my "scope" goes...other than the pain in the you know what for the prep work...it was easier on me than the TEETH cleaning I had the day before...I HATE to have my teeth scraped! I get cleanings 4 times a year, since my gum surgery several years ago...I honestly would rather have a root canal done that a cleaning! But then I think my dentist is awesome..he knows that I don't like novacaine...the numb feeling iritates me...so he does what he can without it...he knows my pain level...I have had tons of work over the years and never left with severe pain or discomfort...he does say I have a high tolerance...cool

Glad to hear your dad is better, PRAYERS for your mom's health!

Speaking of Vitamin D~ did you see the new tests that some people may be getting cancer because they USED sunscreen and it screened out the sun's natural Vitamin D? Weired.

Taped CSI but haven't seen it yet..sooo busy...heard it was good. Like Carrie still...still think Bo is going to win...but I think both kids will be fine. Missed the last Survivor...we were gone, like the outcome though.

Well, Lara's team won yesterday in their game...and my alma mater won their play-off game, so both teams are in the semi-finals, playing other teams..if both win on thursday they will play each other for the county championship in their division...large schools...each school has almost 4,000 students.

Had a birthday party for my neice after the game yesterday, Ron's sister...she turned 10.

jenni - many, many prayers for good results, I loved Sunny's prayers, have repeated it over 2 or 3x for you today. Please keep us posted. You said you know where Huntington is, are you from there? I now live about 20 minutes or so from Marshall U. I know what you mean also about times being hectic, DD gets out of school on Friday and we are leaving from school to go to the beach and I haven't even started packing or cleaning out the car! Tonight hopefully I can get going, tomorrow nite have several meetings and she has tennis, youth group, etc.

Jackay - Happy belated birthday from me too! The 13th would have been my grandpa's birthday, he was also born on Friday the 13th! Hope you had a great day. Come back soon and share with us.

SunnyD - thanks again for starting the new thread for us, love your Patriotic Liberty - it's 'beary' cute, love patriotic themed stuff and there's so much to choose from! Good news about your DF, Joe & and bank account! We'll continue prayers for your DM, hopefully it will be something simple that can be cleared up quickly. Sounds like you've been crazy buzy too with birthdays, communions, showers and all the time you spend on the computer. I know also how addicting the computer can become, especially when it's something you enjoy doing. Joe's BP is still pretty good range, some people just have a naturally higher BP than others, when I was skinny (long time ago), mine was naturally low.

27.5 is still good mileage for the month and hey, you still have several days left to get some more, - keep up the good work! In between raindrops, or so it sometimes seems, I have now got six of my planters filled and one large container, then I've also done the hanging baskets and porch boxes, with some more to go. I'm going to put my few veggies in containers this year and try that out, get tired of mowing around them! Need to get some more dirt and finish the remainder of my containers for the back yard. . . oh well, after the beach.

Did you hear Bo sign acapella last week on AI? That was awesome! Carrie was off a little in the final song with Vonzell, don't know if that will count against her. Last year was Fantasia but I was for Dianna Degarmo, thought she was much better and you don't really hear about either one of these girls. . . wonder why? I agree though that you do hear more about Clay than Reuben, of course I think that had a lot to do with the genre of music that Reuben chose perhaps?? We'll keep a look out for the siggy, - that's sweet, wasn't even expecting it.

EZ - you bum, don't you ever work? Teasing of course, especially when I would like to have a couple days off, - oh well, vacation next week, can't wait! Sounds like you're getting a little bit of everything done around the house, - care to come to Ohio??? I've got all kinds of projects that need worked on.
