 Pookie pie..........that is so cute and fits our dear Sunny  Oh, Mkay, can't wait to see your creation!! And I will pray for your DH and you during his recovery. We did healing prayer last night at Alpha, i'm going to devote some healing prayer tonight for DH (It's for you too dear!) Bruce didn't show for the healing service last night. I finally called him, and left a message that it was ok if he didn't want to talk to me or get to know me but i was worried about him. I just wanted him to know he could talk to me. I guess i'll just have to pray for him...

I went to Quizno's again for lunch and i'm over already a starch serving. But i'm getting my water drank today and otherwise i'm doing well, i'll just be heavy tonight on veggies for dinner and a protein. And i'm weighing in 3x this week to help me get/stay back on track.

Hi Gals, angie and I tried to send more pictures of the house today...for some reason they keep coming up too big to post..I don't understand it. These pictures were sent to Angie from my buddies computer, she put them into my computer from hers and now they say too big...oh well. My brother has some to give me from his camera so maybe you will see more later.

Angie and I did have a "COMMUNICATION" problem today...went something like this:

"Honey why didn't you take more pictures of the house while you were there?", said Angie. "Well Babe, the batteries were low (as usual since she always waits too long to put new ones in~~~just like gas in her car~~~supplying my beer fridge...ya see where I am going with this) said me. "Oh I know they were, that is why I put 2 new ones in the case for you...remember I told you when I gave you the camera" said Angie. "uhhhh...Now I remember " said the know it all husband!

Well, daughter just called and is making a surprise visit for dinner...later, Gary

Thank you all for the warm welcome!

Thank you all for the warm welcome. :o) Much appreciated!

This looks like a great place!

I had a good day today. I just started walking for exercise about 4 weeks ago. I started out walking .6 of a mile and today I increased it to 1.2 of a mile. It was great! I was not even tired, but my feet were starting to hurt a little. I have flat feet.

EZMONEY -- I live in Puyallup, so I am way over there! We are also having a custom home built, but still very early on. We have met with the builder, given him our plans. Next he will give us his bid at the end of this week. Scary stuff, because we have never had a home built before. Fun though!

I am back!!

Hello everyone!! I am so sorry I havent posted lately it has been so busy around here. Looks as if all is well which is great! I recieved fantastic news last night! My niece came home from the hospital last night! PTL!!! She is doing so well. As stated in previous emails, she had a shunt placed in her head to drain fluid that her brain was supposed to absorb naturally but didnt. Well, the shunt began leaking again so they went in and decided to take it out. Now this is a big metal piece of hardware that was supposed to remain in her head for the rest of her life because it is so big and her head would have healed around it thus causing a big hole and fatal bleeding if removed. Well because she has had so many problems with it, it has not been able to heal. So this actually was a blessing because they were able to take it out. They were thinking that they would have to go back in in a couple of weeks and then put it back in, but her brain began absorbing the fluid on its own!!! PTL!! So they will not be putting a shunt back in!! Also, she is doing so well with the chemotherapy that the tumor has started to die from the outside in instead of the inside out! This is really confusing the doctors because this doesnt "normally happen". But hey, we know that the God we serve is far from "normal"! AMEN! So, now they are considering going in a couple of months and taking the tumor out, which in turn will be taking the cancer out!! So now she is at home for good! She only had to go to the hospital for appts and for chemotherapy! She has only had two sessions and it is already working!! God is Good!!! So I just wanted to say thank you all so much for your prayers. God is still in the business of producing miracles!! :cheer:

Sprout - I will be praying for you and that God will make the reports from the doctors a good report!! :goodvibes

Brenda - Welcome!!!(Sorry so late :^: ). I joined not too long ago and love it, I am sure you will too! Congrats on the weight loss! :goodscale

EZMoney - I live in Kent, which is actually really close to Brenda. So I am also pretty far away. I heard that the Kennwick area is really nice. :flow1:

Mkay - I will keep you and your husband lifted up in prayer! :sunny:

Well, have to sign off for now! I will post again soon! :balloons:

doitforme 03-22-2005 05:07 PM

Wow!

MNEWTON- WHAT AWESOME NEWS! I AM SO HAPPY FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY WILL KEEP PRAYING!
I had good news all so Maryanne's tests came back negative for any cancer, so her oncologist wants to wait one month and run markers again, he said its possibly a false positive, which would be awesome.
Can't believe it is Easter Weeekend- been busy getting the bullitin stuff done.
God Bless all!

Mitchypoo 03-22-2005 05:12 PM

MNewton, that really is wonderful news for Channon!! Isn't God awesome!! I'm so happy for the dear baby and family!

wilma12 03-23-2005 09:15 AM

Praise the Lord

He is so GOOD! It's so neat to hear about the way he heals people.

Not too much to report here yet. I had my interview yesterday and I feel it went well. Now it's in God's hands - thank goodness! If I get this position I'm going to be relying on HIM more for strength and wisdom. Thank you all so much for your prayers. I find out on Monday who gets it. Yes, he's going to make us suffer over the long weekend. I'm not stressed about it at all so that helps.

Have a great day!

doitforme 03-23-2005 10:16 AM

Hi there!

Will keep it in prayer wilma!

mkay 03-23-2005 10:32 AM

Keep on Praisin!

Hey Everyone...Let's Keep On Praisin God...

DH has NOT had any expected pain yet after they took him off the leg block AND he has been a good boy tending to the healing of his foot. He tried to get me to leave the Expedition home today so he could get out with a friend and move a ladder etc., BUT...I said no. For one thing, I told him I wait on him had and foot getting him this and getting him that. What an insult to me that would be for him to get up and go...NOT. I took the vehicle to work.

Our city is going to be making serious deep cuts in the budget...Everyone's job is on the chopping block...Praise that I have 8 other office assistants under me. I may not end up in my current job BUT I will have a job...Praise God.

Praise God for everyone's joy of healing!

Hugs to all!

mnewton 03-23-2005 02:01 PM

What wonderful news from everyone!! I am so full of joy for all of the prayers that have been aswered. God hears and cares! Isnt that awesome?!!! :cb:

Sunny D - I am happy to hear that you are still up and doing well. ;)

wilma12 - Praying that God's will be done for you and this job situation. He knows what is best for you and He will bless you according to His will. What peace there is in just knowing that!! Cant wait to hear what happens on Monday. :smug:

mkay - What a wonderful job you are doing taking care of your husband. I knopw it can be tough some times because they can be such big babbies!! But keep it up! I will be praying for strength and peace for you, as well as obedience for your husband!!

Have to go for now! Everyone have a wonderful Easter!!

Wednesday

HI GALS

I am so glad to see answered prayers for you gals! I saw something on the news this morning I would like to share if I may. It was on bracelets for survivors of our troops in the military...ALL the $$$ goes to worthy military causes...I wish I could share the entire story...but briefly... a man saw a story about a young 8 yr old boy saying his father wouldn't be home for Christmas and he missed him, then the guy finds out the father was killed so he decided to do something along the lines of the Lance Armstrong bracelets to raise $$$ for the children for college maybe...he wasn't quite sure...after checking into it he found many worthy charities already available to donate to, so he went with those already in progress...if you purchase a bracelet ($5) plus shipping they give you choices to donate to. I purchsed 10 today...you need a Visa or Master card or cashire's check to purchase (just a hint before you do to all the trouble of filling in the blanks)...anyway if you would like to check it out (and PLEASE do! even if you don't purchase you can e-mail friends through their site...it is a grass roots thing)..the website is... www.GI-BRACELET.org Thanks for checking it out...since I have had one friend die over in Iraq already and 2 others there, well, I guess I feel we just can't do enough for our boys/men!!!

MNEWTON Great news for your neice and family!!! Praise GOD!! Never have been to Kent...my travels in Washington have been limited to Sequim, Seattle and the Kennewick area...and the way home from there back to California!! As far as nice there...????? After living in Southern Californa most of my life it is hard to justfy NICE... a lot of people there though tell us they like living there better than the west side...NO RAIN!!!...it is pretty much dessert with the Columbia River running through it. Really not much to see...refer back to my pictures

EZMONEY 03-23-2005 08:04 PM

MNEWTON As you can see nothing but dirt in front of my house...we are in the center...light colored house in front.

MKAY So let's see...can't get out of bed for dinner/drinks or snacks...but CAN help a buddy with scaffolding..???...gotta love a FRIEND like that!!! ;)

MICHELE What's up with Bruce? Sorry about the high school tradgedy north of you...sad! If you come back to Cali at least some of the riff-raff will be gone...ME

WILMA Good bye MARTHA STEWART...HELLO DONALD TRUMP!!...er...do they have THE APPRENTICE show in Canada?

SUE I am keeping the guest room available for your next cruise...however I suggest taking a plane since we will be living in the dessert! Have fun with the church bulletin!

PAPILLONLADY A dear friend from our church just move to Puyallup to live with her daughter...her name is Catherine Alexander...daughter is Phyllis O'Shannon. Enjoy the excitement of building your new home. Our home is in a planned development, we picked out the lot and the model, then adjusted a few rooms added some footage...not really our own plans but it is what we wanted.

SPROUT How is the puppy doing? Have you got back into the swing of walking yet?

SAMI Remember us?

SUNNYD All-right Donna...where are you hiding out now? Getting eggs stashed for the boys to find ;) You and Joe have a great Easter! Angie has to play bells at our 8 and 10:30 service so I don't think we will do the 6am sunrise this year...we almost never miss it. This year without the time change, and it is supposed to be very nice weather, would have been a great year to experience Easter morning. Good Friday is my son's 24th birthday so kind of a sad and happy day at our house I guess.

Well Ladies I have to put the casserole in.....Later, Gary

doitforme 03-24-2005 07:02 AM
