I am praying that everyone has a safe and Happy Thanksgiving.. You are all in my thoughts and prayers today
|
We have decided not to use the doc DH went for his shoulder. He just doesn't seem interested in taking care of him. Told us to call back if meds didn't help. Called and DH even went back as a walk in which they have a sign saying they take walk ins and no one did anything. Couldn't get them to set up a MRI. So DD is looking for us another doc. Please pray that we will find a doc who cares enough (with God's wisdom) to find the problem. Pain has moved down into the arm. I really don't want to end up with him in the hospital again during the holidays. Last year he was in the hospital until Christmas eve and we really had tow ork to get him out then. Thanks in advance for your prayers. This doc acted kind of strange to start with. Like he didn't want to be bothered from day 1. Thanks everyone.
Prayers continue for everyone's requests and more. Even with the problems we all are facing, we are still truly blessed. |
Yes, GARY ~ we are all so blessed despite the problems we may be having presently. Every morning, I thank GOD for life; for good health and feeling well; for the :sunny: shining; for our nice home & secure income; for all the blessings HE sends our way each day; for our family & good friends (esp here); for our dear furry baby who brings so much love into our lives; and for our caring neighbours (GOD bless them) who look out for us so much these days. So much to be thankful for this day and every day really. ^Prayers^ continue for you & yours ... :D
WILMA ~ some good news for your brother too; will continue ^prayers^ for wisdom and that the treatments continue to shrink and dissolve those tumors for him ... TRISH ~ sending up ^prayers^ for your DH, TONI for the pain in his shoulder & arm; and for finding the best doctor possible for him too. HI KAREN ~ HAPPY THANKSGIVING to your and yours; and to all our American friends here too! :) ^PRAYERS^ and Thanksgiving continue for everyone ... |

After back to back days of having GRANDdaugters1&2 in and out of the house for visits and Thanksgiving dinner, IT SURE IS QUIET! But that's the price I pay for being in an extended family where everyone wants to see them....
oh poor me :-( .... my loss is great ;-) ... but, then again, all that extended love they get from their other Grandmas, Grandpas, Aunts, Uncles, cousins and friends... is pretty AMAZING! I am super blessed! |
BARGOO ~ yes, this is a mix of the traditional and modern versions. Jose Viana does such a wonderful job -- one's spirit can't help but be touched by his amazing enthusiasm ... PTL!!!
GARY ~ you are indeed blessed! So glad that you had an amazing time with your whole family for Thanksgiving ... ^Prayers^ continue for everyone ... |
Angie and I took out 180 of the 495 CHRISTmas songs on my i-pod yesterday, along with almost 8 hours of college football...
amazing how much calmer I am watching USC stink up another 4 hours of my life this year while I listen to songs about CHRIST and SANTA :-) I may just start carrying our portable BOSE everywhere I go...lol |
Prayers for all concerns.

Quick flyby to give a report on DH MRI. He said before they even get started they already know he has a herniated disk in the neck. DD called after he got home and she had a message on her cell that a prescription was ready to be picked up at the office for him. So at least they now know that he really is in pain and needs the pain meds... not an addict. I guess they have to do those things now a days, however, when my second husband was living and he was having a lot of pain and was in and out of the hospital for what seemed forever before they found a rare case of a stone (can't remember where it was only 2 people in the world had that situation on record), the nurses told me... "We know he is in a lot of pain because us vital signs shows that he is". I later learned from one of the nurses after they found the stone that they had thought he had cancer. The nurses had gotten so attached to him from us being in out of the hospital so much the cried when they told me they were so relieved to learn it was a stone instead of cancer. I say all that to say that I could tell from Tony's bp alone that he is in a lot of pain so why couldn't the doctor? Oh well, maybe we just need the prayers. I heard a preacher say one time that you better be specific when you pray or the doctors will be surrounded with confusion. That's why I always pray for God to give them His wisdom to guide them to treat us.
Thanks for your prayers and prayers are continued for each of you. |

This afternoon while Tony was gone to get his prescription, I asked her if she got her money situation straightened out and if she had gotten her food stamps again. I told her I hoped she was able to get things worked out right away because we have no more money to give them and I can't buy groceries since Tony goes into the GAP on his insurance in December and I may have to pay close 100% of his medicine bill plus he has these orthopedic treatments coming up. It is hard for me to not help someone when they need it and even though DH and I feel like they just used us; I have the tendency to break down and let something go and buy for them anyway. Please pray for me to be strong and so I don't give in to my feelings to spend the money I really don't have. I cannot keep spending the money. Thanks again everybody for your prayers. |
Trish, it seems like it is time for tough love here, these free loaders have been on the gravy train long enough I will say that maybe this talk from your DH and you was long overdue, they may have thought it was OK to take and take and take because no on told them NO. Be sure you and DH stick to what you have told them .Your own needs must be met, too.
I am praying this will all work out for the betterment of all concerned.. |
I will update my results of my last chemo treatment this weekend as I head back to the chair on Wednesday...nothing major but symptoms of what chemo does to you lasted longer this time which was normal...
but on a positive note, the results of my lab work were very good. My white and red blood cell counts were both good so no shot or transfusion needed and all other counts were good. Obviously your prayers are working and I continually thank you :-) |
Sorry to hear about your husband's job loss TRISH...prayers all turns out well.
